Communication with the owner was very quick and friendly. Unit seemed dirty unfortunately. We found sand in between the sheets from the previous stay, and towels smelled as well. The property is nice, with great views but the unit needs maintenance.

Overall my stay was great. The hallways are a little rundown but my room was clean, very spacious, staff was nice, and there’s a few dining options in walking distance.

NOT RECOMMENDED I would not recommend staying at the Los Banos best Western hotel. Although the clerk was extremely nice, I paid for two rooms, one for my mom. Upon entering our rooms, we noticed a moldy smell within minutes. I contacted the front desk, and the clerk said when she called the manager, they suggested spraying the air conditioner with Lysol due to possible mold buildup from lack of use. I declined, and she offered to come up and do it herself. Upon inspecting our room, she acknowledged the strong mold/mildew smell and sprayed the air conditioner. However, the smell persisted upon our return. Given my mom's age, over 80, I prioritized her health and decided to leave. Unfortunately, the hotel refused a refund. It is alarming that a hotel would compromise their customers' health.

I loved the amenities, and the cleanliness. I'm a picky person but we were very satisfied. The breakfast could of been a little more variety. The only suggestion I have is that the staff needs to take pride in what they do. I feel customer service is very important to make the guest feel welcomed and feel cared for. They were a little cold. but other that, everything else was excellent. Thank you
