The property had amazing restaurants and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The view from our room was beautiful and faced the ocean where we could see the yachts daily including the cruise ships. They do fireworks nightly Thursday-Sunday. The only downfall is the pool water was freezing and the pool food was not the best. Everything else was wonderful! Will definitely be back!!

I recently stayed at ME Cabo by Meliá and had an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided exceptional service, making me feel welcomed and valued. The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views, modern and elegant design, and a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean, offering all the amenities I could ask for. The pool and beach areas were highlights of my stay. The poolside service was attentive, and the vibe was both energetic and luxurious—perfect for unwinding and soaking up the Cabo sun. The direct beach access made it easy to enjoy the pristine waters and the beautiful shoreline. Dining at the hotel was a delight. Two bad things stand out. Very noisy in the afternoons and night with head banging music at the pool area that you can only escape by closing your room windows. That is not what I paid for, we wanted peace and quiet with the warm winds blowing through. The second item is a strict policy of not bringing outside food or drink onto the property. There is no small cafe on the premises for morning coffee, only a sit down restaurant that does no open till 7.00 am. Hotel is clean.

From the used cigarette butt found in our food to the full pool closure mid week for construction it was not a pleasant getaway. The staff did not care to make anything right they just wanted to give excuses. This is not a vip or luxury resort in any way. They solely cater to bottle service on Friday and Saturday’s for the party goers that flock to the scene on the weekends. During the week it’s a construction zone to prepare for the next weekend.

Overall the property and views of the ocean, sun rise and sun set, along with the mountains around were remarkable. I like that the property was never crowded and always seating available. I used the jungle gym every morning while there. The prices for food and drinks were as expected, given that is a boutique hotel, however, I woulve liked that either the hotel were a bit less expensive of the food and drinks less expensive. I am in my mid 40s and not a big fan of the club music that is played by the pool loudly every day, same rhythm “bump bump bump”. Variety would’ve been better tolerated. Lastly, the pool was kind of small, not too much privacy, and was closed for two days while I was there.

Overall, the hotel and service were great. This is our go to hotel when in Cabo. Unfortunately, the preference to Taboo customers versus hotel customers for pool beds is unfortunate, especially when occupancy is at an all time low. Also, the $50 usd charge for late check out well before the check in time during low occupancy is unfortunate. Other than this, great location and a walk to everything
