The room and property were clean and always being swept, washed and painted. The nightly entertainment was great. The party over in RIU Santa Fe was crazy. So glad we were on the quiet side of property. The night party’s were late and loud.

Warning: Do Not Stay Here I paid over $3,000+ for what was supposed to be a 4-day stay at Riu Palace Baja California. I checked in on September 4th and left the very next day. Customer service is nonexistent, the facilities are run-down, and the so-called “Elite Club” is a scam—no premium alcohol, no elevated service, nothing “elite” about it. I even asked for a Cadillac Margarita, and they flat out told me they couldn’t make it because none of the bars carried Grand Marnier. What?! This trip was meant to celebrate my sister’s birthday. I emailed five days in advance, offered to pay extra, and even got a confirmation the day before that something special would be prepared. When I arrived, staff acted clueless and after a laughable 20-minute delay, threw together something embarrassing that ruined the moment. This hotel is the Carnival cruise ship version of a resort (and I’ve never been on Carnival—I’m more of a Norwegian or Royal Caribbean type of woman). If you value class, decorum, or basic elegance, avoid this place at all costs. I’m relieved I left, but still disgusted I wasted my time and money here. I couldn’t add everything I wanted to say due to character limitations. Just an Awful place!!! The other reviews must be paid.

This was the cleanest resort I’ve been to. The staff are professional and do their job with pride. The restaurants were first class. Housekeeping was the absolute best! Surprised but so pleased the resort was amazing.
