The rooms are very nice and clean, food excellent and the hotel has a decent evening entertainment. The turn down room service is also excellent. The pool area gets dirty quickly but is not cleaned until the next morning. The lounge chairs are worn and shaded areas scarce. Torn overhead shades surprised me at a Riu Palace property. Riu Santa Fe has much nicer and well kept pool areas, chairs etc. Smoking areas have no shade at all. I asked for an umbrella to no avail. The manager on duty I asked for could not be located. Overall good stay but not up to Riu Palace standard. Finally, food prep practices seem off. I saw staff putting scrambled eggs on muffins with bare hands - v. unsanitary. I would not stay at this location again.

It was a great stay! The staff is friendly? Food was good and the room was amazing. The only downside for me was not to able to get in the ocean (red flag was in placed cause the water wasn’t safe for swimming) The views from the pool and hotel are amazing.!

The ocean view for starters fabulous, great choice for our adult only weekend getaway. Service was great, our room nice and clean room service available daily as needed. our room was filled with refreshments and refills available, the buffet food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner options were great. Pool area super clean and service by pool area was amazing. Take singles, to tip waiters , definitely makes your dollar tip worth. Drinks by pool area and coffee shop accessible anytime. RIU had a 24 hour lounge area and bar. Considering going back sooner than later. Highly recommend it.

Our stay at Riu Palace Baja California was pretty good. Check in went smoothly and Cassandra was friendly and helpful. We were able to check in before 3pm and were able to get a room on a higher floor after requesting. The food was mediocre at best, we were disappointed with most of the specialty restaurants, I think Guacamole (Steakhouse) was the best option. The Promenade had a good number of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pools were fine, but seemed to close earlier than expected. Check out experience was alright. We were helped by the petite, gentleman with dark, curly hair at the cashier desk. I did not catch his name but he had a nasty attitude and treated us like we were an inconvenience. Did not appreciate his cold and rude demeanor, he needs to work on his customer service and be more friendly. Otherwise, it’s nice they let you check out at 12 and you’re able to utilize resort services/pool/gym until 5pm. The overall experience was adequate considering this is an adults-only all inclusive resort.

Enjoyed my time staying at this hotel! The food wasn’t too bad as some people say (for all inclusive) the steakhouse was my favorite. Staff were all great. The only con I had was the restaurant closes early or stop taking in guests an hour before closing time and the room service food option are very limited. The 24hr lobby was great if you’re hungry after restaurants are closed. They served burgers, hot dogs, chili/nachos and beverages. Overall, I would stay here again! Great adult only resort!

The customer service of this property was amazing and the best part of the resort! The food was awful! I really didn’t have 1 dish I actually liked. The pools close way too early. We are on vacation on a private resort why do the pools close at 7/9pm?!! The drinks barely have any alcohol and taste very watered down. The entertainment was fun and enjoyable. Overall I probably wouldn’t stay here again I’d like to explore another resort. Also, get a uber driver bc the taxi drivers will completely take advantage of you.
