Room was clean but had mold all over the room. ( blinds, shower, bathroom). Fan didn’t work in bedroom. Was told our bags would get delivered to our room after checking in and never recieved bags had to go get them. Resort was not advertised as only 3 restraints being sit down. Everything else is Buffett and more than 1 of the same thing. Food was very average. The sports bar is great 24/7 but the food in the sports bar is not even edible to eat. Very very disappointed in this resort and will not return!

The best all inclusive hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Staff were very very friendly and so welcoming. Everyone was very helpful and you don’t need to go far to have fun. Everything is on the hotel area. So much variety of food and drinks to choose from. We’ll definitely come back again or stay at a RIU resort for future vacations.

The resort offers limited pool side services with NO food. The overall quality of the food was not great. The Steakhouse was probably the worse ever. Ordered our ribeye medium and it came out practically raw. The room was just ok. The resort was very dated. We won’t be back.

The positives: the staff are excellent, most are very friendly, and they work very hard. The room was pretty nice, the shower was very good, and it was pretty clean. There were several pools to choose from and most had a swim up bar. There was some reasonably good entertainment. The grounds are nicely maintained. The negative: of course everyone has different taste, but both my wife and I agreed the food was not very good. Edible at best. At one point I actually had food poisoning and spent an entire day in the room very ill. There is no room service. It took 3 days of calling the front desk to get someone to come restock our water before someone even answered the phone. We stayed in a quieter area of the property, but be warned that if you book a “party” room you’re in a very loud area where they have the giant parties. They really should give some instructions on how the room works. We had no idea and had to ask another guest to help us out. There’s a slot beside the door that you must have a towel key or room key inserted into or NOTHING works inside the room. Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in so we left our bags (like many others did) with an attendant and went to the pool. Maybe our own fault for assuming that leaving them with an attendant that they would be kept secure, but when we returned they were just sitting there with nobody watching them. It would have been nice to at least been warned we needed to return by a certain time.

They tried to charge us and we didn’t even stay on resort. Warning if you’re people are too drunk or if you get attacked and have to defend yourself by someone too intoxicated on the resort they will kick you off and send you to jail for no reason. The manager is very rude and they do not do proper investigations at all. WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Beautiful and affordable facility. Staff is amazing, variety of food. Beach seems nice unfortunately we could not make it down there due to the hurricane warning red/black flags during our stay. If you’re looking for quiet, not the place to be. We stayed at Villa 5, not sure where the music comes from but you can hear music every single night 2am+ (we stayed 4 nights). Building are a little loud you can hear people walking through the halls or housekeepers dragging beds upstairs for cleaning but it’s part of it we get it.

My room had many many mosquitos even though the room was kept closed always. Staff was very noisy very early in the morning about 630-7 am with rolling carts. The amount of flys at the buffet was insane… you had to eat with one hand fanning your food, and one eating your food. Food quality, flavor, presentation and cooked through was poor. It felt that food was rushed, rice was hard, potatoes hard, semi-cold food. From a 0-10 i would rate this place a 3-4.
