The food was excellent and there is plenty of variety to choose from. The staff is very dedicated and working hard to make it a pleasant experience for each guest. The resort is massive and we walked usually 5 miles a day to get back and forth to the pools, ocean, restaurants. We loved the water slide area it is not just for kids! What we didn’t love was the amount of drunkenness. If you have young kids I don’t recommend the beach pools especially in the afternoon. The party atmosphere near the beach can get loud and obnoxious. We did hear some partying late at night but it’s closer to the RIU Party zone. Overall my husband and I were very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the resort and we plan to go back.

Booking is not guaranteed in this property(red the fine print), they overbooks. I booked for 2 beds in each room(3 rooms), thy gave me one bed in each room. Be careful before booking this facility. Very noisy on Friday and Saturday.

This place is a lot better than most of the critical reviews will lead you to believe. Drinks are good, food is good and the vibe is very chill. You get what you pay for. Fine dining it is not(although many places put in some effort), but you wont go hungry unless its your own fault. We will probably come back in the future but we might try the palace for a smaller footprint.

You shouldn’t have to expect a tip to give a good service; no one ask directly for one, but quality of service change once tip was given.i cannot go to an all inclusive and plan to give a tip to the 100 people that I will be getting service from. The alcohol quality in the bars was the worse I have ever have. And the organization to be able to have dinner on most restaurants was terrible. They want you to go at 5 pm and write your name so they can give you an hour to go back and have your dinner; that takes out the whole concept of going to an all inclusive and relax. And when you call a hotel all inclusive and that laundry and spa are part of the amenities; you cannot charge for that. You need to put a note, you offer those services with a charge. The way is set up on the hotel information when making a reservation implies that is part of your all inclusive experience.

There is so much to do or do nothing at all and relax in the front of the resort. We love the swim up bars (no kids), and the RIU parties. The location to the marina is great!!! We didn't like that the hallways to our room are so dark.

We'd been to RIU hotels before so we weren't surprised. The food has great variety, bar service is always quick and the staff is very courteous and helpful. The pools could use more pool chairs though considering the amount of poeple. One thing that I do think needs to be better is alcohol control. Especially at the family resort, there were people way too drunk risking the safety of other families. It was very uncomfortable. There was a couple fighting outside of our room and nobody came to stop them. This went on for hours and kept us up all night. Secondly, our room had mold in it. The bathrooms have no fans which makes using the restroom uncomfortable when traveling with other parties. Some of the mattresses have worn out and are uncomfortable and should be replaced. Overall we had a good time but there is room to improve.
