Staff was very attentive, and courteous. Food options weren't the best, some foods came out slightly burnt or buffet options were burnt as if they rushed it out after not paying attention. The area for omelette's need two grills, not one to ensure faster service. The outdoor bartenders need two bartenders as well to service guests. The alcohol selection was not limited in category, but veryyyy cheap in quality. Mimosas aren't served during breakfast hours. This establishment needs to take time to review the "what's what" of good/great hotels experiences and revamp. Overall the employees were very delightful and courteous.

Staff was very unhelpful especially in the buffet restaurant. My family and i actually sat at a table and was ignored for at least 30 mins. Meanwhile people around us were being helped. I got up grabbed mugs and coffee for us. My wife had to go grab silverware and napkins for us. There were roaches outside our room, the pool on lower level was filthy. The adults pool had trash in it, and numerous missing tiles. Adult pool bar ran out of malibu within 1 hour of opening. And took about 2 hours to get a new bottle. 1st all inclusive we have been to with no food service at the pools. And if you try to get food at either of the 2 restaurants after getting out of the pools they will deny you service because you are wet.

The resort was outdated and offered limited activities, but it was adequate for a last minute vacation. However, the available options for entertainment were minimal, despite the staff's efforts. There was only one restaurant on the property, and the waitlist was excessively long. The room itself was in need of significant updates, with issues such as mold, a sink that did not drain properly, and inconsistent hot water. The reality of the accommodations starkly contrasts with the pictures presented on Expedia and their official website. Additionally, I experienced an uncomfortable situation where a waiter, who appeared to be over 60 years old, made inappropriate advances, asking for my room number to offer a massage. This was quite distressing. Further complicating my experience, I observed two front desk clerks who appeared to avoid assisting guests of color, which I found deeply troubling. Such behavior is unjust and unacceptable; all guests deserve equal treatment and attention. Given these experiences, I do not intend to stay at this resort again. My review reflects these significant concerns and serves as a final assessment of my stay.

My son and I enjoyed a 7-day stay here. While check-in and check-out could have been more efficient, the waitress at the restaurant and bar was excellent and provided top-notch service. I do wish there were more food options, as they have only two restaurants—one being a repetitive buffet and the other offering basic menu items. However, the pool area is stunning and well-maintained. The beach is conveniently located, though it can be too windy for swimming. The staff members are incredibly helpful, making the overall experience worthwhile for the peace and tranquility we sought. One thing I would like to see improved is the policy regarding food in the rooms. It would be great to enjoy some snacks while watching TV, but food is not allowed in the rooms, which was an inconvenience. I understand they have their reasons for this policy, yet it would enhance the experience if they allowed at least some items, like bread. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay!

I like that the hotel is right on the beach and the landscaping is beautiful. It is an older resort,drains are clogged and some areas look dated. Staff was hit or miss, some friendly, some not so much. Food was just ok. Only two restaurants and drinks are nothing memorable. Overall, I don't think I'll be back to this one.

I should start by saying that we are not picky people and when we booked this hotel for our trip we were looking for a good price and a smaller sized resort. Grand Decameron satisfied our basic needs for the most part but some stuff we experienced has us never wanting to return First off, the resort is a perfect size for getting around. Everything is only a minute or so walk away which is great. The rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. The ac unit made our sleeps very comfortable In our opinion the food was very good. They offered a different themed meal each night of the week The pools and pool areas were all clean and there was many chairs available at all times of the day The beach is larrge and beautiful but the water is rough and difficult to enter. It’s highly recommend to avoid the ocean in this area altogether which is unfortunate We did manage to get past the break on one occasion when the waves eased All in all this resort has a lot of good qualities and charm but where it lost us was the vibe. It was obvious after the first day that this hotel caters to a mostly Latin clientele which I think is great. We travel to immerse ourselves in other cultures and always enjoy meeting the locals and building relationships with the staff while learning their stories but it was obvious they cared nothing about us and would have preferred if we weren’t at “their” hotel. The difference in treatment was sad so adiós y nunca más Grand Decameron

The property was beautiful and very clean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. There are activities every day, so it's like being at summer camp and in the evenings there was live entertainment. There's only 2 restaurants onsite, 1 is a buffet and the other is a reservation only (you have to make the reservation between 7a-10a). The buffet was really good and kept well stocked. There is no night club onsite, like is advertised.

The bed and pillows are hard and hurt our backs. The water isn’t drinkable in the resort. The pool wasn’t cleaned and smelt like poop. The food was terrible, would not suggest this to anyone!

Food was a miss for us. We left the resort to get dinner. We ate at the snack restaurant and buffet, I mainly ate bread, beans, fries, chicken nuggets. There was a BBQ night and the chicken was very good. I’m not a huge seafood fan so a lot of the time walking into the buffet it smelt like fish and seafood which almost immediately made me nauseous. However there were a lot of ppl piling their plates so people do like the food, we were just not one of them. We left a few times to get a steak dinner and tacos which were very good. Staff was amazing, very helpful, fun, and attentive. We had an issue with our AC, they sent someone to fix it but it didn’t work still and they sent someone again and got it working! Drinks were good, not water downed, we definitely got drunk. Vodka options were rough but a lot of tequila options. If it’s your first time at an all inclusive resort this isn’t a bad option, you definitely get what you pay for!
