Holiday stay

This hotel was fantastic! The staff were super helpful and friendly, and they even made sure our furry friend was welcome. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it. The only downside was the parking fee, which was a bit steep, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Thanks 😊

The only negative was that when we checked in weren't told of Ticino pass which gives free public transport. Found out by accident next day when dealing with a different person at reception.

Noisy and not and not so clean

The towels are in a very bad conditions, old and with holes. Unacceptable for Marriot level. The room was dirty. The ambience also was very noisy.

Location of the hotel was perfect for walking to Ascona and Locarno. Acceptable parking fee thru hotel. Hotel was clean and bright. Breakfast was good and have different variety. Pet friendly. Staff were nice and accomodating.

Struttura nuova e pulitissima. Personale gentile e disponibile. Colazione buona, senza servizio al tavolo ma c'era tutto. Punti negativi: poca insonorizzazione sia interna che esterna, si sentiva tutto dalla strada, la nostra stanza era esattamente sopra il bar davanti al Migros. La pulizia delle camere avviene tardi nella mattinata e si protrae fino alla metà del pomeriggio. Siamo tornati alle 14 e la nostra stanza non era ancora stata rifatta. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare mezzora nella hall. Diciamo che da un Hilton mi aspetterei un servizio migliore.

Ich war privat für 3 Tage im Hampton by Hilton Locarno und insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel ist modern, sauber und ruhig gelegen. Die Zimmer sind kompakt, aber gut ausgestattet – ideal für einen Kurzurlaub. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und frisch. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders positiv: Die Lage eignet sich hervorragend für Ausflüge nach Ascona, Locarno und Bellinzona – alles gut erreichbar mit Auto oder ÖV. Perfekt, um das Tessin zu entdecken.

Praktisch eingerichtetes Hotel, ohne Schnörkel

Das Hampton scheint neu zu sein, verfügt über allen Komfort, den man in dieser Preisklasse erwarten darf. WLAN nervt etwas, weil wir uns mehmals pro Tag wieder einwählen mussten. Reichhaltiges Frühstück, aber etwas lieblos serviert (teilweise kalt, Rühreier trocken). Das Hotel ist von der Gestaltung her praktisch eingerichtet, aber etwas lieblos und verfügt über keinerlei Charme, so, wie es die Bilder auch zeigen.
