Not the best

Not very clean dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor. Dates and worn decor. Funny smell in the room.

Door Would not Lock

The room was decent. No frills to be sure, but expected for the price. My review is "poor" because my door was left unlocked when the room service came in while I was gone. The only service was to collect one used towel and my bath mat, neither of which were replaced. The master key card used by cleaning staff unlocked my door and it was not relocked. I was out of the room all day, and my room was open to anyone who wanted to go in. There is no evidence anyone did, but still. When I shared this information with the front desk that evening, I was told it would be fixed, but it was not. The desk clerk (very nice by the way) was on the phone on hold with her bank and could not get off to assist that that time. When I checked out the next day, the door lock was still not corrected. Fortunately I could lock myself in the room at night.

Great hotel experience

We had a great stay at the hotel and our room was exceptional. When we went to the swimming pool, we noticed a ring around the pool… reminded me of when my husband has a bath after working with cars all day. Maybe there is a lack of staff available currently?

Okay…but rude front desk

When I arrived…apparently there was a nationwide outage with their reservation system. The lady at the front desk seemed bothered by my arrival and said if my name wasn’t on the printed list I’d have to go elsewhere. I tried to explain that I had made my reservation a month in advance but she kept cutting me off. We got our keys and the rest of the stay was fine. It wasn’t my fault for the computers going down…I shouldn’t have been treated like a burden. The place was clean..but for 2 queen room, we didn’t get enough towels. When we did get extras, they were thin and not worth much. Breakfast was normal continental breakfast.

The room was not cleaned very well when we got there. The refrigerator was not working well. We had to get ice to keep stuff cold. The breakfast was not very good. On the third morning there they served burnt scrambled eggs. The waffle mixed was so watered downed it made the waffle so thin. The bathroom sinks still had hair in it from last guests. The beds were awful to sleep on. This was our second time staying there. We will be looking for a new hotel next time we are in Louisville.

Definitely an older property, attempts to update have been made, room was fairly clean, found hair on the walls in the bathroom, pool was cold. Got a good rate, paid for what I got. Breakfast was disappointing, especially when I saw a single unwrapped pop tart in the case of breakfast items, too cheap to even give a whole unopened pack of pop tarts? It was alright, but will not stay again.
