Recommend if you don't care to swim

It was great for what we were looking for. Pool was on the smaller side, which is fine, but it was also ice cold. Very off putting. Outside of that, I would definitely recommend if you don't want to swim with your family.

Upon arrival the toilet would not flush. We called and a maintenance guy had come up within 10 minutes. We had to leave to get to an event so we left the maintenance guy in there. Upon coming back later the toilet was still not fixed. You could go #1 and it would flush decent. If you had to go #2, you had to use the bathroom in the hotel lobby. Also, the pocket door for the bathroom was broken. You had to lift the door to get it to shut and lift the door to open it again. Breakfast: ran out of most items like an hour before breakfast was even over. We were on the 5th floor and while our room smelled fine the hallway smelled like wet dog. And FYI, since you book on Expedia they will not provide any compensation for your stay. Disappointed to say the least

The gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. I was not happy with a few thingss with our stay. I went to make the sofa bed for my daughter and the (torn very bad shape bag) only had a blanket and 3 pillow cases and 1 pillow in it no sheets ao i had to call the front desk for those items along with asking for conditioner because the bottle in the shower was completely empty. The remote was covered in tape. I was juat expectinf more quality for the price paid.

The rooms are huge. There are plenty of charging ports and outlets. Love the well-stocked kitchen and large clean bathroom with great shower pressure. Front desk and lobby staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was $18 a day, but we found it easy to find free street parking within one block, and less than 2 blocks on a busy Friday night. Breakfast was more than ample. The gym is well equipped and quite sizable. There are a few homeless people in the area, but nothing threatening. It was easy to walk to food and bars, the waterfront park, museum row and the Big Four bridge. I don’t think I liked that the pool area was enclosed by big glass windows such that people king by on the street could see me in my swimsuit. The TVs are not Smart TVs, so you can’t stream from your Netflix, Hulu, Prime accounts, etc, but the WiFi is solid and I did watch a program on my phone. We weren’t in the room for too long anyway. Two blocks away is a nice Nulu late night convenience market, very well stocked with snacks, wine and beer too.

The check in experience was not my favorite. They charged my card and then said it wasn’t registering the payment because I took the card out too early. Test I followed the instructions on the pin pad where I inserted the card, put my pin in, and it said approved. I then waited for it to instruct me to remove the card. My bank is reflecting the charge, yet one of the attendants kept telling the other I must have done something wrong. They then attempted to charge my card again. Finally the said they said they would figure it out. Then I checked out this morning and I had to go through the same deal. Not sure where the miscommunication was or if the guys from the night before even communicated the issue with them. The room was nice and clean. I just had an issue with the check in and check out experience.
