Terrible, the room got flooded out at 6AM no one came to assist until 6:40AM our 2nd day. Then was transferred to another room AC didn’t work so they gave us a villa the roof leaked the refrigerator broke we lost $100 worth of food and all they offered was sparkling wine and lunch from the bar. The managers presented to care but they didn’t. The housekeeper, concierge, server and the front desk ladies were all great. That place should be shut down and refurbished before guests are allowed to go there. I would never recommend anyone to go there.

Cockroaches infested our room. We requested a room after seeing the roaches and were delivered to a new room where we found more cockroaches. absolutely disgusting. had to switch hotels the next morning frantically. glad my infant didn’t get ahold of one.

What I liked: The location and the staff especially Roselene, the housekeeper. She was incredibly attentive, thorough, and caring. She made sure our room was spotless and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What I didn’t like: The property itself was poorly maintained and felt outdated. It lacked a sense of prestige or appeal. The furniture was worn out, and the bed was particularly uncomfortable. Overall, the condition of the property was disappointing.

Sapphire Beach club was a little run down however the staff was very accommodating. We received fresh towels just about each day despite having a do not disturb sign up) There were a few issues with our hotel room itself, like took a little finagling in order to open the hotel door room but we worked out the kinks. Our shower head was not attached to the shower it was just a handheld. I am not sure if all rooms were like this but ours did not attach. I was a little disappointed as the photos on Expedia show bathrobes however there were no bathrobes. All in all the hotel was in a great location to get you to either the French side or the other side of Sint Maarten in about 20 minutes. The hotel was still clean and safe and it was a good place to just clean up and get some rest if you plan to be out all day.

A place to sleep!

Good location to access the Casino, shops, Moho Beach, and Simpson Bay. The resort is older so don’t expect a lot in terms of ascetics or high quality. It’s a place to sleep if you’re going to explore the island and go to different beaches.

This property ads are very misleading. So called beach access is via a parking garage to a very steep staircase that leads to approximately a foot of sand a huge rocks. There is not a beach to walk in, lay out on or even get in water from. The excuse given is pictures are BEFORE 2017 hurricane . The bar is a whole story in self, it is boring, dull, very limited drink selection and closes at 9. No entertainment at all. Restaurant food is horrible and very limited. The rooms are nice and staff are great but doesn’t make u for beach and the boring resort. Spa is in basement and is just concrete room. The store is good and man who runs great. If you are older and just want a pool and nice clean bed this is your place. If you want to enjoy beach without having to drive play, good food and activities stay elsewhere.
