The room was very run down, but clean. The couch was broken and was not suitable to sit on. We were only provided two towels that were very well used with some stains. The staff was not unfriendly, but appeared unwilling to go the extra mile. The breakfast was TERRIBLE! The coffee was not fresh and they ran out. There was a few options such as eggs and potatoes, but it was not good. They were out of yogurt and no cream cheese for the stale bagels. Would definitely not stay here again. Knowing it was going to be a busy weekend for the family weekend at Tech, they should have had better breakfast and better attitudes.

In need of remodel

Last stay at the Ashmore Inn was 2013... the hotel has become rundown since then. For the price it was acceptable but will not return until the ownership change and remodel. The front desk informed us that Hilton had bought the property. The staff was doing the best with what they had but there was trash all around the outside and pet feces outside the exits. Rooms on either side of us were smoking pot and the hallway reeked. Hopefully Hilton brings the property back to a cleaner and well-kept condition.

wonderful customer service,breakfast was not ready on time,shower was not draining,the toilet was not secure to the floor. The pillows are horrible,the balcony doors do not lock. Beds are comfy,the room was clean. It is a good place to stay.
