Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel San Marco The staff at every level were accommodating and pleasant. The hotel was very clean and well maintained with excellent linens and towels. With pure hospitality upon us first stepping into the property, the staff were an essential element to the overall loveliness of our stay at Hotel San Marco. Knowledgable of their area, they were always willing to provide recommendations and transportation plans for the nearest cultural experiences. Hotel San Marco was a wonderful place to stay in Lucca. The location is great—just a short walk from the beautiful walled city, making it easy to explore. The swimming pool was a nice bonus, perfect for relaxing after sightseeing. Fabio at the front desk was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and even taught us a few phrases in Italian. He also gave us great recommendations for places to eat inside the walled city, which turned out to be some of our favorite meals in Lucca. The lady at the snack bar and breakfast service was equally delightful, always courteous and providing exceptional service that made mornings feel special. Hotel San Marco offered both comfort and genuine hospitality, making our time in Lucca even more memorable.
