Everything is pretty good here, location, cleanliness, services and breakfast. However, I wish their entrance was better designed. The options were either a flight of stairs (which can get slippery when wet), a narrow escalator with luggage restriction or an unintuitive elevator down a hallway.

The room was spacious and comfortable, but there was a lot of noise coming from outside the room in the evening. Seemed to be infrastructure noise - pipes, doors, squeaks, etc. Fortunately it quieted down at bedtime. The breakfast was great.

We recently stayed at the Astoria Lucerne for three nights and found it to be a very busy hotel. While the location is excellent—clean and conveniently close to the station—there were some drawbacks that affected our comfort. Our room faced a bar that was particularly noisy on weekends, making it hard for us to sleep until the early morning. The walls are also quite thin, so we could hear movement from the room above us. On the positive side, the hotel was clean and the breakfast was decent, though nothing exceptional. Overall, the hotel is convenient if you need to be near the station and don’t mind a lively atmosphere, but light sleepers might want to consider other options.

Has been the worst stay so far in Switzerland. Motels around the world have better amenities than this hotel. The receptionist in the night of 1st September was very rude and sarcastic. Paper cups in the room for tea or coffee, no tea bag available in the room. Had to call reception to get it and in tern he said you must have used it . If you need more ask for it, whereas it was not there when we checked in, not replenished by housekeeping when preparing room for new check-ins. Would never stay in this location again or recommend it even.

Overall experience was nice. The only complain I have was that I still hear noice 1 in the morning when I was trying to sleep. My room was on the sixth floor in building 2 and I want site if the noice was from the street or upstairs restaurant.

Its a nice hotel in a convenient location but its amenities are poor (fitness room is not usable), the breakfast is average, the rooms dated, and the staff, while professional, were a little too serious/dry. For the money I'd say its a pass next time

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay at the Astoria Lucerne. The hotel was outstanding with incredible ambiance; the welcoming staff was professional and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was impeccably clean and spacious while the restaurants and breakfasts were five stars. We strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We had a fantastic experience with luxurious amenities and impeccable services. Everything was either walk-able or expressible by bus throughout the city. The hotel is well-maintained and provided a safe and secure environment.
