This was a lovely older hotel. Our room overlooked Lake Lucerne, which was just beautiful. The staff were extremely cordial and helpful from check-in to check-out. There was an issue at first with the elevator taking our bags up, so they carried them up for us. (They did notice that the door to the "lift" wasn't closed all the way, so that is why it didn't work initially.) They had a nice little breakfast buffet and would make whatever coffee you wanted and there was always a little snack for you.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable, clean, and well stocked with amenities. The property has a great location but really stands out with the staff - every team member I interacted with was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. A short walk to shops and restaurants, a beautiful lake view, and walkable to the train station (about 20 mins, easy enough even with luggage). Highly recommended and I look forward to returning.

BEST STAY IN LUCERNE!!!!!

Absolutely phenomenal stay from the moment of check-in. The blonde woman was so kind, courteous and welcoming. She wanted to ensure our room was ready, sat us down with a cappuccino and took our bags to our room. It was absolutely a wonderful welcome. The rooms were nice size with balcony, gorgeous lake views and sitting area and generous size bathroom and the beds were SO COMFORTABLE!!!! We wish we could have stayed for a week!

This hotel has an excellent view of the lake and is across the street from the waterfront. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the Chapel Bridge. Our stay was a bit rainy but the hotel had umbrellas that we could borrow. We got a wonderful dinner recommendation from the front desk. Our room was clean, lovely and spacious. The hotel itself is stylish and charming. There is art everywhere—which is a nice touch. The only drawback was that parking was a little inconvenient (difficult when it is pouring rain) but other than that our stay was great. The real strength of the property was its very friendly and accommodating staff. We would stay here again if we return to Lucerne.

Switzerland Tour

The hotel have a very good location to the center.The staff are very friendly.However their room’s doesn’t have any amenities just a tv. We stayed in a suite,no coffee maker no microwave or refrigerator.Our room have a portable a/c,not a centralized one.If you have a lot of luggage it’s hard going thru their entrance since they don’t have a ramp,and they have a few flight of stairs.I think they charge more than they offer,and breakfast is not included.You’re paying for the location not for the services or amenities they offer.But hey Switzerland is expensive to start with.

Great location. Very convenient to all tourists site. Plus there is a beautiful park and boardwalk across from the hotel with amazing views. The hotel is very old, however the staff do a great job to ensure guests are taken care of. Plus the two bedroom option comes with 2.5 baths. Only one negative is the portable AC unit, but that’s not that much of an issue.

Beautiful area by the lake, easy transportation to the downtown and everywhere else. Staff are friendly. It’s an old building, no a/c, only has movable a/loud in the night. Bathroom is out of date but clean. Humidity smell inside.
