Room had no heating for two nights AT THE END OF DECEMBER in 2024, which would be ILLEAGAL in many places around the world. Called the front desk and obviously they knew the situation. But instead of being proactive and honest to their clients, they didn’t offer any solutions until we reached out. We asked for a portable heater and were told “We do not have enough portable heaters.” I was literally searching other hotels while they were probably debating whether or not to offer us one portable heater because it’s already the second night without heating and we could’ve died there. Eventually they offered us one portable heater and additional blankets. The room was extremely dry with the portable heater and the portable heater was really noisy. It was so heavy with double blankets, and we didn’t sleep well at all. I would never come back again or recommend this hotel for anyone.

Heard noises in walls at night ! Lights randomly went off and on in bathroom at night . Asked directions at front desk to cog wheel ride up nearby mountain . Took train there to find out it was closed for season .

Enjoyable stay
Staff were very friendly and helpful and provided information about the area which was greatly appreciated. We were also given a travel pass for around the area which was great! Offered insight knowledge to the area which helped us figure out what we wanted to do. Bedroom was very spacious and buffet breakfast was nice.
