Older hotel

We had the 7th floor room. It was spacious with living room, guest room, master bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, outdoor terrace, kitcheb, and even had a fireplace but quite old. The walls were velvet but the outlets were coming out. One small TV in living room. The guest bedroom had a window with bars but no covering - quite odd. Some of the lights didn’t work. Kitchen appliance seemed like from 40+ years ago. They had 2 glass panel shelf windows where people outside can look into the apt. Floors were creaky. The place felt haunted. The bathroom seemed like the only area renovated decently but the shower area had some mold. The location is convenient near the lake and 10-15 min walk to train / chapel bridge / lion monument.

This hotel has a good location. The rooms and hotel itself were not of a 4 star standard as described. There was no air conditioning which was needed with temperatures over 30 degrees. No mini fridge in the room.

I would not recommend this hotel. Hot, dirty, cigarette smoke in the lobby, noisy, and dated (in a bad way). Manager was, however, very receptive to our feedback and did kindly offer a refund for one night to accommodate. This was the bright spot. I would still not recommend this hotel, but I applaud the manager for her service and appreciate her willingness to receive our feedback.

Nice hotel, easy walk from railway station and all the main tourist spots. I had a single room which was clean and had a comfortable bed, a safe, flat screen TV with lots of channels, charging points for phones and nice bathroom with a good shower. Staff were all nice and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good. My room overlooked the street but with the window closed there wasn't much traffic noise. The only thing that stops this being excellent was the lack of air conditioning but I wasn't that hot and slept well. I definitely recommend it as a good place to stay unless you really need air conditioning. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Very central, 10 mins walk from the railway station, old fashioned charm, my room at the front could have been noisy but everything shuts at 2300 in Luzern so it gets quiet. Did me fine for 4 nights.

Very convenient location to center of Lucerne - we were able to walk to all areas of interest to us. Wifi connection process was very cumbersome and we need to ask for help from the front desk staff. Room did have some dustballs on the floor in the corner and under chairs and desk.

A good hotel that is centrally located, making an easy walk to the centre or the train station. This rooms were nice but the air conditioning didn't do much cooling so I had the window open the whole time I was there. It was generally good and I would stay there again, but perhaps not in the summer.
