This is a lovely place to stay with our room having a view of the lake. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The only negative, I would say was the variety of food on the menu was not very extensive leaving us to find somewhere else to dine. However this did not take away from how lovely the hotel was.

Unfortunately this beautiful property with a beautiful view could only be reached by taxi or walking up a very steep hill from public transportation. No air conditioning,not enough plugs in room. Either TV or fan could be used. No place to plug in coffee maker. Promise of more plugs and better TV service coming in future.

Really nice hotel with fantastic views. It’s a bit dated but that did not stop our enjoyment. The tiny balcony could just fit three people on. We had a triple room with a bathroom and it was nice. It’s about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre of the town and there is a little bit of a hill towards the end but again no big issue and I don’t think even someone with mobility problems would have any issues here. The one thing that we had a bit of a smile about was we were one hour before the check-in time and they asked if we wanted to pay for an early check in for 30CHF which seemed a bit much. We declined.

The service was amazing and everyone was so friendly, especially Arrot (please forgive the spelling who worked the front desk when we checked in. The view was amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the lower balcony for a drink and in the mornings we drank coffee on our balcony from our room. The breakfast buffet had lots to offer as well and was a great option when in a hurry.

This is a lovely hotel with great views of the lake. It may be difficult to find and walking to it with suitcases would be hard. We stayed in the triple room. It is a small space but worked fine for us. It tales just a few minutes to reach the main train station.

Great views from our room in the corner of the historic building. The rooms were fine, public area pleasant. But nobody much stayed around as no dinner was available. Long hilly walk to town centre, so we drove. Nothing much in the vicinity of the hotel. Parking was expensive

Good value.

A little way from the hub, but still well located, accessible by bus. Well appointed rooms. Staff friendly and good humour though seemed a little stretched at times, especially at breakfast to have enough food, crockery etc as needed. Overall good value for money.

We were blessed with a room that had a balcony and a window. We had a spectacular view of the mountains and the lake. We had dinner at the hotel the first night and Rarish our waiter was excellent. The only thing missing is it had no breakfast included. This is why I gave it a 4 stars.
