Go somewhere else

This property is just okay. It has a lot of potential to be great, but everything was so old, musty and outdated. We averaged just shy of $300/night and it's definitely not worth that price point. The one redeeming quality is the proximity to the beach. Everything else was not up to par. With ample beach parking, stay somewhere else that's nicer for less. The staff was friendly, but it was overall very underwhelming and disappointing.

Nowhere on website does it say "no elevator ". Climbing multiple flights, multiple times daily was hard. Also the toilet was 12 inches off the floor with nothing safe to hold on to. Terrible.

The view from our room was wonderful. Looked out to lighthouse and Lake Michigan. Large balcony with rocking chairs. Room was large a spacious. Only problem was bathtub/shower. Very dirty along shower door base. There was adhesive shower mat in tub that was heavily stained and dirty.

Paid for the suite, but other than the beds, no furniture in our "suite". No chairs, no couch, nowhere to sit other than the beds.... which was weird. Room was clean enough and we slept well. Easy walk to the beach. Staff was friendly, except for dude at the reception counter who was willing to tell me the coffee was empty but nit willing to make some more.
