It’s a late review but I’m still dreaming of the beautiful charming mindblowingly unique stay we had at this gem! The host was so welcoming and kind despite our very late check-in ( & gave us a little upgrade which made me cry!) it felt like family & touched me very much. The centuries old Greek fresque on the ceiling was insane! I couldn’t stop taking pictures and looking at it from our comfortable bed. I felt like a queen :) sadly the pool access was not available but I didn’t care since the location is in the heart of it all, amazing food places and little shops everywhere. It does get a little noisy at night (World Cup matches were happening so we get it) We were sad to leave but hope to be back again one day. Grazzie Mille ciaooo

Overall great

Great location! Small restaurants all around. Near marina

This is for sure the most peculiar room booked through Expedia; the Executive room that we received it was the most hidden and noisy but not from the street ; due to the air pipes just near the window we had the most unpleasant slip in all our visits from Italy in the last 5 years. And we visited Turin, Bologna, Padova, Ravenna and other gorgeous Italian cities. Also, the coffee maker was in fact a kettle with instant coffee sachets : in Italy, the country with a coffee philosophy.

Hotel Bristol Palace, Genoa — A Beautiful, Central Stay with Old-World Charm We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bristol Palace in Genoa. The location is outstanding—right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of the historic center, shops, restaurants, and major sights. It made exploring Genoa effortless. The hotel itself is elegant and full of character. The classic interiors, grand staircase, and beautifully maintained public spaces give it a genuinely special atmosphere that feels far more memorable than a typical modern hotel. Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful with recommendations. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options, and the on-site restaurant was a pleasant bonus. Valet parking was also convenient for a central Genoa hotel. If you want a well-located, charming, and comfortable base for exploring Genoa, Hotel Bristol Palace is an easy recommendation. We would happily stay here again. Alfred Hitchcock was right.
