A good hotel in a not so good area
This place has all the holiday inn space, amenities and great breakfast. I think they're severely understaffed because the rooms could've been a lot cleaner. It looks clean enough but if you look deep enough you'll notice that not everything was deep cleaned. Smelly shower curtains, a little moldy in the shower, bathroom didn't feel disinfected and floors were not deep vacuumed so there was a lot of dust. The employees are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good and 24 hour coffee was a huge plus. Hotel was very quiet, definitely a better clientele than the cheaper hotels. I usually expect a lot more from holiday inn.

This is a nice building that is being run like a cheap motel. Upon check in we were charged an 50 dollar deposit for incidentals. No explanation as to what that was. Our room had a dirty floor and a filthy shower. My fiancé had a hot shower the night we checked in and I waited until the morning. At 7 AM there was no hot water. I don’t mean it was luke warm, it was COLD. When we went down to speak to a manager, an employee in a t shirt let us know she was the closest thing we were going to get to a manager. Regarding the 50 dollar deposit, that was in case we “broke something “. Really? They refunded it without even seeing the room. What was the point? Regarding the dirty conditions in the room, no comment. As far as the cold shower “ That’s normal when we have a full house”. We never saw the lot more than half full. No apologies offered, just excuses. Contacted corporate which took some persistence but they promised a refund. As a side note the pool is closed pending state inspection. (Dirty) which seems to happen frequently based on other reviews, and they don’t provide this information when booking. What a shame that poor management is ruining this business.

The hotel location was nice, at the end of a road, quiet not lots of traffic so you could get some rest. There was one eatling establishment close (outback) so you could walk there if you wanted. We stayed here for a wedding Thanksgiving weekend. Staff was nice, for the most part outside of a woman with really short short butch hair, she seemed irritated when I asked about more hot water in the tank....to which she replied, that someone else was supposed to fill that, then she grumbled off. Other than that, everything was peachy!! Breakfast was fine, hot and served it's purpose. Room was clean, bathroom was clean.
