Tandem Palacio Alfama Suites is a hidden gem, and we hope to stay there again some day. PROS: - Clean, spacious apartment - Huge bathroom with a nice shower - Outdoor pool area is very peaceful - Coded entry, no keys or keycards to lose - A quiet oasis in the middle of a busy city - So many great restaurants on the same street (Alfama Portuguese Cuisine, Alfama Cellar, Nonna Ristorante) - View of the river - Washer/dryer in your apartment CONS: - A steep hill to get up to the entrance - Lots of stairs and limited elevator access within the property - Access to street is restricted by bollards that only taxis (not Ubers) can bypass - Front desk is only manned certain hours of the day

Great welcome. Loved the Ginja shot! Great Family suite with two rooms. Breakfast was good and recommendation for dinner at Chapito was great. Also loved the location.

The staff and facilities were outstanding. Hotel centrally located, easy to get everywhere in historic area. One of best overall hotels we have stayed at.
