To enter the lobby, there were 4 steep concrete steps to climb. Challenging with luggage, but it is designated a historic property, so it can't be changed. After taking the elevator to the third floor, we needed to go up 2 more carpeted stairs, go 5 feet and then 3 carpeted stairs down. Just to let others be aware. Lot's of character for a historic property.

The staff were not friendly and supportive, which made the experience less welcoming. The facilities are standard, lack of hot water in my room after 9pm. Overall, it didn’t feel like good value for the price paid.

Small Inn but great location On Montague Street Easy walk to restaurants and many art galleries. waterfront about 100 meters away.Staff very friendly and helpful with luggage and locating parking. room with king sized bed a bit small but comfortable. they have an elevator to make moving luggage easy. spent 2 nights there and would return.

Michael was really helpful in facilitating our late arrival, helping with bags to the room, providing a good recommendation for parking, and providing a good recommendation for breakfast. Later, he also provided a good recommendation for lunch and for a beach/hiking location.

The hotel was very comfortable and quiet. The room was clean and the hotel as well. The owners were very nice and helpful. Located on the main road with many restaurants and shops. The harbour was a block away. The room was smallish but perfectly fine. The walls are a little thin so we could hear the guests in the room beside us. It wasn’t a real problem however. There is an elevator for use to the 3rd floor. Street parking only. We were not disappointed.

Excellent stay and extremely well located next to the waterfront and in very close proximity to the restaurants. Ideal for tourists and those from away. Staff/owners were wonderful and very welcoming and helpful at check in with the baggage and parking. Nice touch and not that common these days. Plumbing/AC/kingbed/flatscreen worked to specifications. We certainly recommend a stay.
