Good enough place.

It was good. Im not sure why there are bad reviews. Dont expect a 5 star hotel or even a 4 star hotel. Its not like your paying for a hotel in a big city. For the price you pay for, it was fine. It had a comfy bed. The breakfast was good, not complemamtary, but it was good enough for the price. Ill come here again if i do business in Luray again.

An unwelcoming person at the front desk upon check in. No housekeeping service was provided to us. When we called about it were told the housekeepers were gone for the day & we’d have to go to office for towels. The room was dingy, dusty, cobwebs, & the bath is tiny, the toilet was dirty from previous guest. Overall a pathetically rundown property that has quite a nerve charging $160+ per night.

Comfortable stay in a quiet room

The check-in was quick and efficient and we were able to get the type of room we asked for. There is no elevator up to the second floor, so one must take the stairs with their luggage. The room was good except that the covering plate for one of the electrical outlets was not on the outlet, but was on the floor. It did not affect the functioning of the outlet plug-in. The only real issue for us was that the bathroom did not have an outlet for a nightlight, and we were unable to turn on the light without also turning on the noisy fan in the bathroom. It made for a disruptive sleep if one had to use the bathroom at night because the fan was noisy. The room itself was quiet, and the HVAC system worked very well, and there were blackout curtains to decrease the amount of light in the room. Overall, I could recommend the Quality Inn in Luray.

Our room was disgusting. Not clean and smelled horrible. We were so disgusted we left and stayed somewhere else. The pictures on the website of the rooms is not what we got.

The property is ok. It was 2 levels with outside access to only. No elevator. No continental breakfast. The restaurant connected to it has good food, but it felt as if my family and I were outsiders or an inconvenience. Nobody smiled at us or welcomed us in. It was doable but I wouldn’t go back.
