Dirty tired old rooms. Snot on wall etc.

Checked in late and went to bed straight away. Room was old, tired and grubby. It needs a refurbish. Bed not comfortable. Shower room is one of those prefabricated plastic boxes they install to save on costs… In the morning when getting ready for work I realised that there was hair left in the sink from previous guest or cleaning staff… and worse I noticed a large glob of dried mucous (snot) on the wall above the TV. Hadn’t noticed the these the night before as too tired to check… if I had I would not have stayed there. Messages the hotel via hotels.com app. Hotel never responded to me. Contacted hotels.com customer service who tried to contact hotel also, but hotel wasn’t interested in discussing problem it seems. Poor service from hotel. But good service from hotels.com

Perfect for early flight

Nearly half the price of the holiday inn express and only 200 meters further to walk from the airport. 1 night stay before a 05:30 Monday morning flight. There is a bus to the airport (timetable is on reception) costs £2.50 but the 03:23 bus was full so I walked to the terminal. Took 12 minutes, very smooth path so easy to wheel your suitcase. 35 minutes after leaving hotel I had checked in my bag (wizzair) and gone through security. Perfect.

Looked like a crack den

It was extremely sub-par how can you charge £119 a night for a room with a rusty bath tub, 1 measly pillow each, a dirty sink and a very uncomfortable bed with barley enough room to move around the room? I dread to think how bad a budget ibis is if this one looks like it does
