Great until we found bed bugs

We were really impressed with the hotel, the staff and the room until we came across a bed bug on the sheets along with a spot of blood! We were checking out very early and didn’t see any staff to raise it with so I contacted the hotel via private message to inform them. Since then, I have found a cluster of bites on my shoulder and the hotel is now no longer replying to me after previously promising a 50% refund. I wanted to give them a chance to resolve this privately but as responses have stopped I’ve decided to write this publicly in the hope that it will receive the attention it needs.

Amazing value given the history of the building and the location cannot be better for downtown Luton. Great to have facilities like tea and coffee, and breakfast was from a small but essential selection. Room were nice, using a fan rather than air conditioning. Which was ok.

I really like this hotel, is less than 10 min walk from Luton Station Interchange. The hotel is next door to Luton Point, where are many restaurants and other places to eat, or shopping. The staff at reception is very welcoming, polite and professional. The room and bathroom were very clean, spotless. The bed was really comfy, I had a very good sleep. The breakfast was very good, there were pancakes, I love pancakes. I will be back to this place, as I like it.

The hotel is located close to Interchange Luton Station, less than 10 minutes walk. When I arrived at reception was Sunny, he was welcoming, very polite and professional. The room was very clean and spotless, looks like everything is well maintained. The breakfast was good as well, there are various options, obviously you can have a good English breakfast if you like. There is free coffe, tea in the Reception area. They have a coffe machine where you have various options for espresso, cappuccino, late, macchiato, hot chocolate, this is free for hotel customers. The hotel is next door to a shopping centre, where you have various restaurants, cafes, etc. I honestly I love the place and I am going to be back.

Very basic hotel. The bar is a few bottles in a fridge. The King room was extremely basic and no facilities at all. Breakfast was farcical... no eggs, no juice glasses, no forks and no plates! Had to ask a very reluctant member of staff 5 times! Very intimidating people hanging around the foyet. There are much nicer and better value places nearby.

Woken up from 630 to 930 befor i went out to see whats banging ....was the cleaners told reception they didnt give a toss just kept offering me useless things They should have offered half my cash back at least but ill charge back from bank for full amount as staff defo wont help the lady argued with me the man made the confo circle till i walked off. So a completely crap start to my day with them and no sleep ....
