Good location however the housekeeping was poor Dustbins were not emptied everyday The plumbing was poor and we had to wait till the next day for someone to fix it Breakfast was very basic with no variations at all

On our way back to Paris
We were tired and were hoping to find an hotel outside Lyon, the typical Motels in the USA. That is not likely to be found in Europe as most people use public transportation. Unquestionably a good value but the problems of getting after hours the keys to the room (a serious challenge unless you know at least SOME French) and finding a safe parking location (hotel offers no garage service) at night when it is your first night in downtown Lyon (is it safe?). Thus my recommendation is to arrive after traffic lessens but not too late.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in
Great value for price - even basic rooms come with a kitchenette, sitting area, spacious bathroom. Internet is an extra charge and check-out time is quite early, but the rooms are gorgeous and the location is quite good (across the street from Valmy metro station)

The apartments are very handy for the metro which makes getting around Lyon easy. The safe in the room was not working and the room walls were in need of a freshen up The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable

Not impressed!
Definitely more like a no frills apartment than a hotel room. No comforts or basic amenities, concrete floors, thin & old linens. It was clean. Forget parking anywhere nearby or being able to unload luggage unless you are extremely lucky. Best to stay here if not driving a car. For the price, I feel there has to be a better option available in Lyon.

This hotel was our only disappointment in a 12 day trip to France. There is no parking for this hotel, or even a loading zone to drop our bags. During our stay, the wifi was down. The front desk was not very helpful at all. When asked where to park, she told us to find a spot on the street, though she also scared us saying that it wasn't that safe. When trying to find a nice restaurant, she just pointed us to a street that had several restaurants, and none of them looked very good.

Hotel check in only staffed until 3:00pm. After hours check in is very poor. Clerk could not speak French or English and it was difficult to get key to check in. Room was nice, clean and good location. No parking at all and no help from staff on finding parking. You are on your own!

Not my idea of a hotel.
I was only at this hotel for an overnight stay. This hotel is better suited for a weeks stay as it has a couch, small kitchenette with cook top, frig, microwave, sink, etc. The TV had only one English speaking channel, CNN. I needed a wake up call so called reception at 2 pm on Sunday and it was closed and I was told I could not get a wake up call. There was no clock in the rooms and I had to be up at 3 am for a taxi. I did not get a good nights sleep to say the least. I also missed the "free breakfast" and never even saw where it would have been served. The reception area consisted of a desk behind sliding garage like doors that could close. This hotel is more like apartments than a hotel. It is in a noisy party of town. The bar/eating establishment next door had only men inside and out on a Sunday. I would never stay here or recommend it to anyone. I very was very unhappy about this choice.

I would go back!
The perfect place for a couple of days. Thanks to the public transport system, you can get anywhere, and it doesn't cost the earth. The area is safe, a supermarket is next door and Valmy metro station is opposite the entrance. The kitchenette is well-equipped and there is free wi-fi. If I go back to Lyon, I'll definitely stay there again!

Opposite Metro Station Valmy which is excellent!
It would be much more pleasurable if the double bed was a queen as there is room to fit a queen bed. Our Room was facing the courtyard which is better than facing the road. Good to have the kitchentte as well.

Fantastic all-round
This apart-hotel was fantastic. Our stay was very comfortable, the room was much larger than expected with a separate bedroom, lounge room, bathroom and kitchen. We also had a private balcony with lovely views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is also great! The train nearest train station is across the road and only two stops to the old town and three stops to the new town. There is also a handy supermarket next door to the apartments. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay
The rooms at this place are incredibly spacious. We had the 4 person apartment room with living area, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The stove, microwave, and refrigerator were wonderfully convenient to us as we could cook some of our own meals during the stay. They also had pots, pans, and all the dining essentials. The balcony was very pleasant, with no noise from the street. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
