Whilst the room was clean and tidy it fell down on comfort. There were only two pillows in the room and there was not a wardrobe or cupboard to hang clothes. The hot water was barely luke warm and too cool to have a shower. The rule book is very unfriendly and talks of ‘fines’ if you do certain things!! Whilst it was not terrible, with so many other options nearby I would not stay again.

Policy Over Integrity – Disappointed. I called ahead to inform the property that I would be arriving at midnight due to travel. After introducing myself, I my call was answered with a dismissive and rude response. The staff member confirmed my booking and instructed me to call a number upon arrival to receive my key. Upon reaching the motel, I realized I had mistakenly booked the wrong date, and the property was fully booked for the night. With no alternative, I had to sleep in my car. I immediately contacted Expedia to request a refund and was advised to reach out to the property directly. When I called, the same staff member blatantly lied and redirected me back to Expedia instead of addressing the issue. As someone who has managed the largest accommodation in Queensland, I understand policies regarding cancellations and refunds. However, my incorrect booking was still five days away, and rather than providing honest and transparent customer service, the property chose to keep my money and mislead me. This is not how guests should be treated. I hope the small amount of money retained from this situation is worth the damage done to your reputation. I would never recommend or return to this property.

It was a lovely room with a comfortable bed but I was surprised that I had to wash up dishes before I left. There was no cupboard and only 2 pillows on the bed that were very low and soft. Usually there are more if you need them.

Sadly about 30 years after it's use by date. Fridge in room didn't work, and there was somebody else's ice cream in the "freezer" section (if it worked). Room was clean, and reception was good. Quiet.

Real little gem !

The hotel is a real little gem, while outside style is older the rooms have been stylishly decorated to give a modern on trend feel. Bed was super comfy and the reception was very friendly and welcoming.

Room #2 was our initial room. We walked in and the floors had been damp mopped. .....horrendously slippery and dangerous. We thought turning on the A/C would quickly remedy this issue. After waiting a couple of hours, the A/C didn't not seem to be working. We were told it was very humid and that it would cool down shortly. After another 1.5 hours the room was still like a sauna. We were given towels to mop up the moisture on the floors but because the A/C was not cooling things off, we asked to be moved so we were moved to the next room, #1. It was convenient to move only 1 room over, however, still inconvenient with our luggage. The A/C was working perfectly in this room. I do understand there was only one person at front reception when we were there but the floors were dangerous being so wet and the A/C didn't work and the humidity was crazy. We were only there for one night so that's why we were not super happy with this.
