The property wasn't downtown Mackinac Island. Is was a few blocks away from the hussle and bussle which was nice. It was walkable. The bed was amazing! The location was quiet. We stayed on the 4th floor! There isn't elevators in these historic places so plan accordingly.

This is a lovely setting in a beautiful city. The hotel is historic but updated nicely. The rooms are small but comfortable. The breakfast was average but had several options. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Personnel, we’re very helpful. The convenience of your bag being transferred from the ferry to the end and back is excellent. Everyone was very friendly. The facility was lovely outside you nice little perks like cookies, muffins, coffee, and tea all day long. Dante was our porter both ways and did a great job. Larry help me before we arrived when I had booked incorrectly on the date and he was very accommodating

Great stay at Harbour View Inn

We enjoyed our stay at Harbour View Inn! We stayed in the cottage house. The building is old, so some of the floors were slanted and floors were squeaky when people walked down the hall, but it was nicely decorated and comfortable. It is not right in downtown which we liked even though we had to walk a little more to go back and forth.

The hotel is very charming. The breakfast was good with a nice selection. Our door to the balcony did not lock. When I said something at checkout one of the employees seemed to know about it. Kind of disappointing that it was not in working order. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

Lovely, quiet post-Labor Day location across from the harbor and down a bit from my favorite local coffee shop. Sweet room with a private porch overlooking a garden. Welcome reception treats near front desk and excellent breakfast with, on my day, orange-glazed coffee cake and a fresh fruit salad with (gasp) fruit other than melon. Pricey, but everything is on the island.

Beautiful Inn

This is a beautiful inn. The employees are so friendly and willing to provide assistance no matter their position. The rooms for the island were larger than expected and their breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay here again.
