The adjoining suites were very nice overall. My only complaint was that the floors in rooms and bathroom could have been a bit icleaner. (Not barefoot friendly 😠) The fireworks that night were a surprise!

Easy access to boat shuttle to Macanac Island. Front desk staff helpful with ordering extra tickets for boat. Coupons available for area. Location was nice. Our room seemed like ab afterthought to the hotel. Room on 4th floor but elevator only to 3rd floor. In an area by a large conference room and a 15 steps to get to our floor through the conference area. Back doors always open and unlocked to rooms so did not feel safe and secure since anyone could walk into building and have all floor access. Rooms adequate, beds comfortable, great pillows, and facility was clean. Had a good time. Would we stay there again? Probably!!!

Hotel is run down. No breakfast anymore, water park needs to be cleaned, rooms need to be cleaned better, our room the shower wouldn’t work only the bath.

Front desk service wasnt very good. The map she gave me and explanation of how to get to my room wasnt very good. Also, the outside jacuzzi water was cold and the indoor jacuzzi didnt have much for bubbles. Average stay at best.

This was a wonderful family friendly hotel! My grandkids and I had a wonderful experience, room was very clean, beds were soft and cozy. Smelled a bit too much of bleach, but I’d would rather have that than something else. Carpet was stained, but otherwise great shape. Our view was Lakeside w/ balcony and we loved it! The waterpark was just as amazing as the pictures showed- a must for traveling with kids! It is right across the street from the ferry we took to Mackinaw Island. I will definitely return next year!

I was not able to check into my room when I was supposed to. Once my family was able to get into the room, we found a used half-gallon of milk in the refrigerator. I gave it to the front desk. My wife found multiple water and Gatorade empty bottles behind the bed and nightstands. The cabinet door did not cover the cabinet. It appears the hotel needs renovations.

Dirty, late pool hours, broken/old, rude staff

The lady at the front desk was rude & unresponsive when spoken too (we had said thank you for various things and she said nothing each time). When another party let her know that the lobby coffee was out she did not even make eye contact or verbally respond but she rather shuffled slowly over appearing very annoyed. The headboard was broken in the room and couch and each bed was sandy along with the floor, the outdoor light (entryway) was also out. Pool did not open until 2pm so if you chose to stay there to swim- it’s not an option until mid afternoon.

Location was great for walking the city and catching the ferry across the street! The room was decent size to accommodate 5 adults and 3 young kids. It was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the balcony even though it overlooked the parking lot. The fireworks were visible from the balcony! The room wasn’t cleaned not even once in 5 days stay. We were asked one time if we needed towels. The water park needs operational attention and monitoring. Older kids kept the spraying water jets on continuously which was extremely intimidating to the younger kids. A timer would be a nice improvement. Younger 3-4 year olds were getting trampled by older kids 10-12 years old. The second you step into the water park you are getting sprayed by the jets that haven’t been maintained well.

The staff seem friendly Walking distance close to the ferries and shopping Parking spots not clear marking Hallway to the elevators for second floor, and the elevator was never swept. We were there for 2 1/2 days never cleaned. The balconies were absolutely filthy. They need to be hosed off and scrubbed.

I’m old fashioned and would like to have fresh towels on a daily basis. Stayed 3 days and the room wasn’t touched, no new towels, and was given a tip envelope for my housekeeper upon arrival, for what service am I supposed to tip for?
