You get what you pay for. It's an older water park that could use some updates, but the kids absolutely loved it. The room was very clean, bedding clean and beds were comfy.

Was really disappointed in this place. The people at the desk were nice. But while going through the check in process didn’t ask me if i wanted to go to the pool which you need a band for. Then my room was on the 5th floor where there are no elevators so i had to carry all my stuff up to my room. On top of that the stairs were in the back of the hotel and the stairway had spider webs all over it and the spiders were big. The room wasnt much better the chairs in there were torn and the closet didnt close and the pillows weren't comfortably either.

The property was basically closed for either the season or repairs, I’m not sure. There was no staff there and the grounds were dirty. The staff at the Hamilton Inn helped us and they were very accommodating. It was the off season and I’m sure when their busy season kicks in, it will be cleaned up and fully staffed.

This has to be the dirtiest hotel that I have ever

This has to be one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed in though the amenities were very beautiful it was filthy I don't think it had been cleaned all winter long it was coffee in the pot and there was mold on the coffee grounds that have been left in the pot for God knows how long the floors were so filthy I've stayed up most of the night to clean the floors so they were clean enough so I could at least take a shower I wash the walls down they look like they there had been smoking in the room for 10 to 20 years it was absolutely disgusting

Got to the room and there were chunks of dirt and debris all over, room was not vacuumed, the slider to the balcony wouldnt latch to lock, main door safty lock was missing half the latch, in the bathroom the light/fan fixture squeeked and buzzed when on sounded like the motor was gonna burn up. Called down to find out about breakfast and was told they dont do breakfast we had to got to there reasturant. Over all pretty poor experience and wont be staying there again.

Never again. 2nd chance wasnt better

This is the second and last time i will stay here. Tried to cancel. Upper michigan got hit bad with an ice storm the week we where coming. Over 48 hour advance wasnt enough and they wanted to charge me $120 for the cancelation. Over half the price of my stay. hotels.com got them to not charge me but i had to rebook. Staff was very rude about canceling. Got to the hotel. Check in was weird. Front desk was checking in someone else and walked away for 10 min with other staff.Mind you i knew condition of hotel and knew what to expect(or not to for lack of better words) the room needed a good mopping. Papers in closets from previous guests. Cookies in cupboards ect. Went to pool. Waterpark was ice cold. Big pool was ok,water was cloudy,hot tub was hot water was green. Again i knew what i was getting into. Waterpark dosnt open until 2 which i think is really odd. Cant use it half the time you are there. It was open early one day, or they never closed it from previous night. Clothes and towels everywhere in the pool are from previous night. The scariest part was when the fire alarms went off and cleaning staff continued to clean and didnt know what was going on. We ran out i found someone working on something. He said it didnt have to do with the alarms but found out from cops it was. No staff even knew they were doing work. This hotel needs major updates and new management. They have tons of potential but not worth season prices. Hence why i went off season. Never again though

Could be a nice hotel if cleaned property, Room was very dusty and had dirty floors. The waterpark was super cute but the area could seriously use a good clean. The hot tub was green. We had a room on the third floor with a balcony and the sliding glass door latch/lock was broken, not a good thing when we were there staying with a special needs child.

Walkways and steps were covered in snow and ice. Obviously the property can't control the weather but they should make sure it's safe to walk around. Door and windows let in cold air. Things in the room were dirty, for example clock radio was covered in overspray. Heater in room didn't work. Space heater was provided on the second day but didn't put out enough heat. Front desk moved me to another property on the 3rd night, after I asked.
