Very small room with tired decor. Hall carpeting looked very soiled. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awful. Tables weren't cleaned and food was not replenished.

Ideal location. We had to call and ask for towels and garbage to be picked up because housekeeping never came to our room. Otherwise it was a great hotel. Would definitely stay again.

One night stay, late arrival, staff was on hand for easy quick check in. Property doors are not locked from the outside which seemed very old school (and a little disconcerting). Outward appearance is very pretty, great location on the water. Interior and room level is aged but clean. Room door was hard to open and did not close well, made sure to double lock, which was good as housekeeping tried to enter the room in the morning despite it not being check out time. Overall-fine for my one night in and out, inexpensive, but would choose an upgraded place for a longer stay.

We were out in a room different from the one I booked. No big deal, it served it's purpose. The elevator hasn't been inspected since 2013 according to the paper in the elevator. Overall the stay was fine, but nothing to write home about.

Check in was ok, I had to ask the clerk to repeat a few times, she spoke too fast. I had to ask about the free waterpark tickets only to find out that the one for older kids was closed for the season. The room was not clean enough, very dusty, poorly lit and in various states of disrepair. In the bathroom, the tv stand, thermostat, the dresser for clothing, the refrigerator cabinet. The breakfast was the worst we ever had at a hotel stay. We did not go to the pool since the hotel did not seem clean enough. I would not recommend.

We got to breakfast a little to late. However, we did get some scrambled eggs. We were actually expecting the typical but appreciated yogurt, muffins, bagels and oatmeal. Seeing a hot meal was neat to see. Next time we will get to breakfast earlier.

Beach needed some attention. Found litter. Had trouble with TV. The guide wouldn’t come up. TV stayed on Spectrum weather channel, and couldn’t advance to another station. It happened twice. Someone knocked on door at 7:15 am. I think it was housekeeping. No one else was around that I could see. The transport to Sheflers ferry was very quick. That was much appreciated and conviniant!
