Here on short family vacation with 3 school age children. They loved the pool & spa and making their own waffles for breakfast. Staff were outstanding. Hotel itself could use some updating but it was clean and laid out well. Walking distance to ferry dock was added bonus. This is our third trip there and hope to visit again.

The property is in a good location walkable to tourist areas, including to the ferry. Though the room and public areas were satisfactory, the property could use some updating/polish. The management and staff were not particularly helpful or friendly,ot so not my favorite place to stay..

Only problem we had was the beds are like laying on the ground. Definitely need a mattress topper or something. Breakfast had an hour wait line and when you go there it was only a couple things: eggs, waffle, pancakes, bagel. Not worth the price at all.

This room that we were in smelled terrible. even though this is a non-smoking property the room smelled very heavily that somebody had been smoking in this room. Mixed with some other bad smells. No tissues in the bathroom. Not the friendliest people at check-in and check out.

The room was decent. The hotel is old. The view was great, wish we could have walked out to the beach from our balcony as we were on the first floor. We received a call earlier in the day asking when we might arrive. I have a timeframe but then felt pressured when we weren't going to make it. So called and they said it was no problem. Haven't had a hotel do that in a long time. Con: the pillows smelled like they hadn't been washed in quite some time - smelled like greasy hair.

My husband and stayed here this past week. We had a very pleasant stay! Checking was easy, and our room was very clean! Great view of the lake from our room and the jacuzzi tub in our room was also very nice. Breakfast is pretty basic, but still good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay at!

We stayed for one night and wish we could have stayed for more. The highlights were the comfy beds, the yummy breakfast and the beach right outside a hotel door. One complaint was the smell of our room and that the air conditioning unit was not working well. The room smelled little off and even after hours of running the AC our room wasn’t cold by any means. It is a very large, very busy hotel but it was quiet. The breakfast staff went above and beyond to make the food nice. We will definitely be back.
