The motel is a bit dated. I loved the shower head but the floor on the tub was dirty or stained. There was a used towel from a previous guest hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I just added it to my dirty towels. The only thing that would really keep me from staying here again would be the old terribly uncomfortable mattress. Popping spring and you could feel being drawn to the side everyone sleeps on. Sleep was difficult.

A great quaint little motel. Rooms are clean and the owners were very nice and accommodating. It’s not a fancy Hilton but neither is the price. 10/10 recommend. An added perk is if you are using Sheplers to go to the island they will pick you up in front of the motel at no cost.

Very clean and comfortable basic hotel room. Hot tub and pool were very nice. We really enjoyed staying here. Right across from the beach/mackinaw bridge and easy walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and shops. Would absolutely stay again.

Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect close to everything we wanted to do. Room was huge with 2 queen beds, very comfortable and great shower. Very good bang for your buck. Highly recommend.

Check-in is fast. Room is reasonably large and comfortable. Fixtures are somewhat dated but acceptable. It is close to the waterfront, where you can see a beautiful sunset under the Mackinac Bridge and a night full of stars. Walking to the Mackinac Island ferry takes about 10 mins and the main area is pretty close as well.

Great view and good value

Great views of the mighty Mackinac Bridge, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse, Alexander Henry Park from the property. We stayed on the second floor, so the view from balcony in front of our door was stunning, especially at night. The property is older and smaller than the few national hotel chain options in the area, but also noticeably less expensive. Stayed here for the Mackinac Bridge Swim that starts across the street, and I would stay here again. Great location & view, and the price is hard to beat for Mackinaw City.

The property is within a walkable distance to anything you’d like to do in Mackinaw City. The hot tub was excellent and there was plenty of seating and towels available. The room was clean and comfortable.
