Amazing Hotel!

The service desk guy was friendly and accommodating. The room was nice, beds slept well. The pool chemical was off or the filter wasn't working properly. but, my grandchildren enjoyed it anyway. The breakfast was very good. It had biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, pancakes, yogurt they dont skip on the items they offer.

Only ding is for the toilet leaking/running. Not a visible leak but from tank to bowl, causing toilet to run about every 5-10 minutes. Had to shut off water valve to get some sleep. Otherwise, a good place to stopover on a road trip.

Tub in bathroom was slippery, good shower head. Staff was very polite, professional, and courteous. Your biscuits at breakfast were so much better that Cracker Barrel.

The front desk staff was wonderful! The pool was shut down because it had not been properly cared for. It was opened back up later in the evening, but was so filthy we were afraid to swim. When I showered in the morning the soap, shampoo, and conditioner containers in the shower were completely empty. The air conditioner was running constantly, but there was no movement of air in the room so it was just sticky and hot. The fan in the bathroom never turned on so the room was humid and uncomfortable.

Nice. Expensive since it’s the nicest one in Kirksville, but not a 5-star property to be charging 5-star prices. Off-peak it’s normal, but if there’s something going on at the college, it’s close to 300/night. That’s ridiculous for this place.
