Our first stay at La Quinta

Place was clean and comfortable. The tv kept cutting out so we finally gave up trying to watch it. The place allowed pets which is nice, unless your room is next to one with a yapping dog. Bed was very comfortable.

The place was quiet, but one of the exit was blocked with material that the front desk person sent us to the wrong in of the building to park, and all the doors told you not to out because there would be an alarm that would go off in the exercise room. One of the bikes only had half the set left the breakfast was not the best. People had to keep asking for more food to be bought out

Conveniently located, the hotel staff was friendly & helpful. The free breakfast was pretty decent & helped cut expenses by filling our belly with waffels, sausage & other hot or cold breakfast options before setting out for the live music at the Big House. Really liked the room, it was clean & comfortable. Better than expected. I will stay here again when I come to Macon for Gabbafest, if not sooner for another festival. All in all, the event and our acommodations were a very pleasant experience. Looking forward to coming back next year if not sooner! Thanks, Macon!

Construction going on in the hotel. The fire doors were fake, which is fine, but all the doors said there would be alarms if opened and there were not. Comfy bed, clean-ish room.

The property is very outdated and filthy. There was mold in the bathroom/ tub all along the wall and floor, mold under the sink and just smelled of mildew. It was so filthy that we didn’t feel comfortable showing there and waited to get to our next hotel to do so. There were also red X markings on the walls inside and the back entrance door walk unlocked the whole time we were there Overall would not recommend

The towels and washcloths were NOT as clean looking as they should be. They also were hard to get for my family of 5 (my 4 small kids and me). I asked for more than the 3 that were in our room and was met with resistance. I ended up going to a nearby store and buying some.

It’s late, we were tired, we just wanted to check in and get to sleep. He checked us in, I asked if there was a restroom in the lobby. Clerk replied yes, and pointed. I go in and do my business, and there is no toilet paper in either side of the dispenser. ok, drip dry it is 🤮🙄 We pull to the door closest to our room. Another hotel worker and a truck driver smoking weed about 40’ from the door and the smell was AWFUL. Go inside the hotel and the same smell from outside is everywhere. Get to our room to finally crash and I said “does it look like the foot of the bed is several inches higher than the head of the bed?” He agreed. So not only was the foot higher but the entire bed tilted towards the left side so it was like sleeping on the side of a mountain all night and hoping not to slide off. So I said “well at least I was able to find you a hotel with a breakfast buffet and not just a continental or grab and go breakfast, even if I did have to pay a little more for it”. Pack up and head down just to find a continental breakfast. Nothing was sanitary, Single pieces of white bread wrapped in unsealed sandwich bags, cereal, undercooked sausage, and what he thought might be egg whites. Looked like chunky white vomit swimming in water to me. Check out, complain about bed, get told “oh I told them to change that”, and about breakfast, points and says “right there is the breakfast buffet” I explained the difference in continental and buffet. She rolled her eyes and shrugged. 1⭐️
