This hotel was disappointing

Hotel was clean but there were a few problems we could not over look. Aside from the paint chipping off all of the walls in the bathroom and the sink falling off, we had NO hot water. All three mornings when we went to shower there was no hot water. I would have had a better time jumping in the frigid lake looking for hot water. As far as the staff goes we got the excuse that other people were showering and using up the hot water. I have stayed at worse, cheaper hotels and have had hot water even on a busy morning. The staff were always preoccupied on their phones when they were at the desk and only addressed you if you spoke to them. This stay was such a disappointment especially at the price we paid since it was an inflated rate because of an event that was going on.

Good, but not everyone's choice

Great Staff! Good Room. Couple small things... An eyebrow on the bathroom wall? Shower didn't get hot water at 9 am? A weird stain by the garbage can. Neighborhood looked like public housing. Didn't bother us, but some might not care for it.

Was not impressed and would not choose to stay there again. The condition of the room was poor. There was a large wet spot on our carpet by the bed. The bathroom is very small and when you use the sink, water splashes all over the mirror and countertop.

So many great things, but oh baby…those thin walls

We loved the overall vibe of the hotel, the front desk personnel were very welcoming and kind. The only issue we had- and this is a BIG ONE- the walls are so thin that we literally had to hear some sort of sexual marathon that went on Saturday night for over 2 hours. My kids are 7 and 14 and it was so loud it sounded like it was an inch away…..and this was around 12-2am the night before my daughter’s third day of competing in a high level dance competition. Also, please start using actual standard size pillows. My husband thought they were for munchkins.

The hotel was a site for a gathering of high school football coaches. They were drinking heavily in the lobby when I arrived. At 2 am a group in the room next to mine started arguing and making a lot of noise. No staff member or security intervened. I was able to change my room, but found the whole experience to be very uncomfortable.

We booked this hotel so that our daughter could swim. There was no notification that the pool was closed during the booking process or check in. We found out the pool was closed once we all changed to go to the pool and walked down to the pool only to find it closed which only disappointed our daughter since the trip was for her to swim.

Took forever to check in - only one person working and long line. Had reserved a handicapped room and said I needed four extra pillows. The room wasn’t ready at 7:30 PM (computer told the staff it wasn’t clean) and he had to call mgr and mgr said it was clean. Then i. order to get pillows it took 1.5 hours, I needed them to house my handicapped sons leg. I also brought my own pillows and upon check out I was asked if I was taking their pillows and had to explain that I left their pillows in room and these were mine that I had brought, Picked this hotel because of HOT TUB and pool and hot tub was closed. Call ahead if you want a pool! We stayed at this hotel two years ago and it was fine - it sure needs more maintenance. Bathroom walls were dirty and stained and needs painting.

We have stayed here before and was great the first time this time not so great. Started off with 10 people waiting in line to check in and only one person working. Then discovering the pool area was closed for "maintenence" but judging from other reviews its been down for a few months now. Looks like a large number of guests are actually living there. The rooms around us were very loud, yelling and playing music all night. People in the parking lot were yelling at each other all hours of the day and night. Marijuana smell. No extra blankets, only one towel, one wash cloth and no hand towels in the bathroom. Very disappointed. If it wasn't late in the day would have cancelled and found a new place.

From the moment you walk in, it just feels like an ugh hotel! Was accidentally charged as I did check in even though I had paid through a 3rd party. He refunded me but after the fact I mentioned I paid already. First room was horrible. Spills all over the walls, carpet not vacuumed, smelled strongly of smoke. Made my nose hurt the smell was so strong. Looked as if dryer up vomit was on the floor. Mattress under sheet needing vacuuming. Asked to get switched to another room, was upgraded to king suite. Was a little better but not much. Floor needed vacuuming, was cleaner a bit but they truly need to be checking over the housekeepers work. Hot tub and swimming pool was down. Didn’t know until I got there. Asked about bar, but they don’t have a license yet!

Many individuals smelled of marijuana and there were sketchy cars in the parking lot, litter in stairwells, lobby was almost 80*, no hot water one morning when showering and the guests staying in the room next to us played loud music, slammed doors and were loud. I understand staffing is limited at night but it didn’t get quiet until 1am.

Checked in and our key didn't work 2x so I had to change it 2x and go back down to the lobby. The front desk clerk was rude and unprofessional. People vaping in the lobby. Our toilet was cracked. Bed sheets were stained. Our bathroom sink didn't drain. We asked for another room only to find out that it was unsanitary and the sheets had yellow stains as well. We checked out and the hotel wouldn't refund us eventhough we did not use the service. DO NOT STAY HERE.
