A no frills property; if you’re just passing through town and need a cheap place to stay, this is your place. Hotel smelled; no one at front desk upon arrival; had to ring the bell to alert someone we were there which doesn’t give one a great sense of security

1) we found dirty underwear from the previous tenant - gross 2) mold in the room 3) unacceptable bathroom conditions a) toilet wiggled and wasn't comfortable it was too low and small b) the shower barely sprayed and the shower head was too low 4) the blankets felt very used and dirty. One blanket had a stain the other (the shell) stunk so bad we refused to wear it 5) i will say though, this hotel has some of the most respectful, kind, patient staff members I will be staying elsewhere in the future.

The carpets were so gross that your feet would get damp and sticky. I put on socks and walked to the bathroom twice and they were brown with damp dirt. Lighting in room and bathroom are too dim to see much. Sheets had weird stains and blanket had holes (presumably from cigarettes). The bed was not very comfortable but not the worst. Pillows were wadded up to the size of accent/ sofa pillows - hard and lumpy even after unfolding them and there were only 3 for a queen bed with 2 people. There were was no elevator so you have to drag your suitcase up and down the stairs. It was overall subpar in most basic areas and many of these issues are extremely minimal investment to take care of like light bulbs, carpet cleaner, new sheets and pillows. People were smoking at the back of the hotel night and day which drifted into the window AC unit so you could smell that gross stale, nasty smell on top of the other issues. People were loud in the hallway until at least 1:00am - you could hear doors loudly, etc. Why choose to get poor reviews instead of making such small investments on what you can control? The breakfast was ok. I did not have high expectations but it was worse than I hoped and I would not stay here again. The high reviews must be fake…?
