Check in was very slow. My room develop a severe leak in the bathroom ceiling but they were very helpful and quick to move me into a different (slightly upgraded) room which I appreciated. The bed was large and comfortable. It was well placed for Madrid Train station which was why I booked it. A short less than 10 minutes walk. I ate in the restaurant too which was pretty mediocre. Breakfast was fine, usual hotel buffet options. But the breakfast room is very noisy! If you want a calm start to your day go for breakfast elsewhere.

For the price paid, ~200 euro a night the service and quality was dismal. This is the first hotel I visited ever that had no coffee machine in the room - they wanted extra charge for that. They didnt offer even a minute of early checkin even after telling them we just flew internationally. Then the room was the most basic, claimed to give me city views but all it had was windows opening to inside of the building which was gloomy. The room itself was cramped and this looked more like a hostel than a proper hotel. To be avoided.

We had an overnight flight from the US, so we arrived long before check-in, but they gave us a room right away. It was reasonably sized, exceptionally well maintained, and the bathroom had a full-size extra-deep tub. The staff was also very helpful.

The hotel staff is nice. Though well-located for walking to some of Madrid’s famous touristic draws, as well as the train and metro stations, current construction made the trek a little unpleasant. It worked for me as a two-night stopover but I probably wouldn’t book again

Improved? When I leave dirty dishes out and they are not taken seaway for the 5 days I am there??? And I have to go to the front desk NOT once but twice to ask for new glasses and coffee cups? We were drinking out of 3 oz paper cups for the duration of the trip? VERY disappointed with room service AND front desks lack of concern

Shocking - do not stay at this hotel. I stayed Friday 12th, through Monday 15th. On Sunday, while we were out, someone accessed our room with a key and stole a credit card [which they tried to use less than a mile from the hotel]. When I informed the staff, all I was told was, wait for the manager in the morning. When I went to find the manager next morning he was not there but left a message to report to the police. No other help offered. This theft was clearly managed by someone accessing the room with a key, not a break in. The managers response of 'report it to the police' [and no other advice or assistance] was terrible customer service. We were robbed on their premises and no one cared or helped at all. I wonder if this is how they would like to be treat if this happened to them when staying in a hotel in a foreign country. Shocking - do not stay at this hotel.

The room bathroom had sewage odor, we tried to rinse the bidet next to the toilet with hot water and close it, then the odor is gone, but came back after next day !!!! From our room, we can hear people talking in the next room, it was so noisy.

We thought this was a very nice clean hotel. The room and bathroom were a good size. The breakfast buffet was good, not great. The maître d was not friendly at all. The only problem we had was our key cards stopped working and we had to wait in line to get new ones. Most importantly after staying in two previous hotels where the A/C barely cooled, the AC worked great!
