My husband and I loved the property. It is unique in that it has parts of historic structural elements that are still there. The staff is incredible! If I could I would give each of them 10 out of 5!! I have to extend special appreciation to Monica for her efforts to accommodate us in every way. She assisted us in getting an upgrade that made our stay even more enjoyable! Thank you Monica and the entire staff! We will be back at this property on our next Madrid trip!

Everything was great as always at Los Hoteles Caralonia. Just two observations: We had 2 suitcases and a carry-on and they assigned us a room in which we had to climb some stairs. One of the towels in the bathroom had a hole in it. Everything else was perfect.

Beautiful hotel close to everything!
Exceptional customer service. Our room was beautiful. Hotel facilities are clean. Every staff we have encountered has been very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel itself is located in the center of everything. Everything is walking distance. Highly recommended!

The location was perfect for walking around Madrid to the Retiro and a tour to the Royal Palace and Old Town. The staff were SO kind and helpful. Even when I realized that I forgot my hat at the hotel when we were in the taxi — they were standing outside when we turned to hand it to me. Luggage storage also was great as we checked out in the morning to spend the day in Madrid before a late afternoon train to Segovia. We are so glad we picked this spot and can’t wait to come back!

Service was so so
Checked in was very slow. There was a group of 5 people ahead of us and at 6pm it took the hotel almost 15-20 minutes to complete our check in process. There was only one person at the reception handling check in though there were other staffs walking around but showed absolutely no intend to help. A little while later there were a couple of them just sitting behind the counter chatting. Tried again asking for tv channel information during the EUFA cup and again the front desk basically just asked us to search the channels ourselves.
