Disappointing hotel

I booked hotel time ago booked double bed room. When I checked in to my surprise it was twin and disabled room. I asked reception to change room, answer was we are very busy and have no room. It tells me I am not signifinact customer for them They give priorty to other guests as I am staying free. Never in my life any hotel has charged me for water in the room. I understand if there is fancy water bottles but is is ordinary water. 1st time I paid for water in this hotel

This is one of the loved hotel when you arrive or left Madrid if no have plan yet, it is an intermediated because there is a shuttle working so far so good between airport and this place. You can stay the day before and arrive the airport on time for your flight without stressing. Metro connection is available but is about 20 minutes walking is Barajas metro station and you can go to the center so far so good!!!

Very helpful, welcoming and hospitable staff! Room was exceptionally clean and perfectly spaced. Breakfast was delicious and perfect for the start of a busy day. Kids are begging to go back the next time we are in Madrid.

The property is a bit outdated but the staff is friendly. The hotel is close to the airport but far from the downtown area. There is a limited amount of appealing eateries in the area and most of them close between 4p-6p. There is this one charming small restaurant called La General which is open all day, though. There is also a small grocery store nearby. If you need to be close to the airport, then this is a good choice and it does offer a free shuttle service.
