Likes: friendly staff, excellent breakfast, speedy elevators; Dislikes: There is no way to adjust the room temperature and the windows do not open much. Additionally our room was an inside facing courtyard which was HORRIBLE! I contacted hotel corporate and Expedia and was given the the brush off. It made sleeping very difficult and as a result I am not likely to recommend this property.

This is actually the most beautiful, interesting and adventurous hotel I’ve ever stayed. Service personnel was as outstanding as it gets. The rooftop is 2 nd to none.

The Riu seems more of a corporate hotel but we had a good time there and enjoying the amenities.The breakfast is massive and included in our room fee. They have a rooftop bar that is very popular and had a gland photo platform! They need more outlets in the rooms as far as we were concerned but we made it work.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location for exploring Madrid. The hotel is very clean and the staff friendly. We particularly enjoyed the Skybox and Rooftop bars, though they can get very busy.

Decepcionado. Sou cliente da rede riu a muito tempo. Confesso que não esperava encontrar ar condicionado desligado. O pareamento estava quente e tivemos que dormir infelizmente 4 noites com janela aberta, barulho a noite toda e claridade. Comprei e paguei por um serviço que incluía ar condicionado. Não recebi. O máximo que consegui foi uma informação do funcionário que era assim e e não teria o que fazer. Secador de cabelos uma lástima.

Staff were excellent, breakfast great however very busy as such a large hotel. Dining options a little disappointing. Roof Top Bar so busy with queues of, mainly locals, staff do give hotel guests priority however the area is packed - I imagine summer will be unbearable.
