I was worried because it is listed as a Hotel/Hostel. It was great, i rented a room with a bath, very reasonable. Loved that it was within walking distance of great museums. Very memorable trip to Madrid.

Great location

Went to Madrid for a day on our way back home from Seville. This hostel was a pleasant surprise. Room was clean with a private bathroom and great location. Room was small but comfortable. Would definitely stay there again for it’s convenience and price but not for prolonged stays. A day or two is perfect.

Easy access from Atocha station is the main reason why I booked this place for layover in Madrid before heading to Granda by train next day. It was a Good value of money besides the convenient access to public transportation. The staffs were friendly and helpful!

Great find. We had a wonderful corner room with great light. Five minute walk from the train station. Close to restaurants and museums. Staff were top notch and very attentive.

While the location of Latroupe Prado is excellent—right across from the Reina Sofía Museum and within walking distance of several major attractions and transportation options—it’s important to clarify that this is not a traditional hotel, but more of a hostel with similar accommodations. We stayed in a private room with a private bathroom, which was clean and functional, but the overall amenities were quite limited. Rooms are cleaned every three days, there’s no in-room hairdryer (you must request one at the front desk and sign it out), and noise can be an issue depending on your room’s location. That said, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay, which made a big difference in our overall experience. Just be sure to manage your expectations and know what you’re booking If I had known this was a hostel from the beginning, I would have understood what to expect when booking; however, Expedia lists it as a hotel, so naturally, you expect amenities that align with that.

All the staff were very nice, we stayed two nights. It was nice of the hotel allowing us storing our bags for free the morning we checked out, and we were able to pick up our bags quickly to catch a train. Thank you! we will stay this hotel again if we come back to visit Madrid someday.
