SIGNIFICANT JEWELRY STOLEN BY STAFF
The absolute worst possible way to end an otherwise amazing trip, as my wife and I got 4 pieces of jewelry stolen (including my wedding ring), worth more than $6K from our room by the hotel's cleaning staff. We know the culprit was effectively from the hotel staff because we found out the jewelry was missing while packing that night and decided to spend our last night there reporting the crime to the Spanish Police. Once back home, we were contacted by the Spanish Police to inform us that they had caught the employee as he still had one of the pieces in his possession. To make matters worst, we expected more from the hotel management, to at least offer some sort of relief for our grievances, but it has now been about 4 months and they never even had the decency to reach out to apologize for their employee's actions. They knew we were leaving the next day and were probably hoping we did not find out in time to report the crime to the authorities, so how do we know if the employee that got caught acted alone? We will never know, but we hope you don't choose to find out. Stay here at your own risk.

Doesn’t feel like a 5 star hotel
The hotel is showing its age. Everything just looks worn out. Also the acoustics is not ideal. We could hear the alarm clock of the room next to us, and so did we hear their couple “quality time”. The lobby smell and scent is just awful and overwhelming. It didn’t feel like a five star hotel, for the price we paid. On the plus side, the AC worked really well, hot water was always available, The cleaning services were perfect, and the location is unmatched. Too bad it didn’t feel Like a luxury experience. Only book this hotel for less than 200 euro a night, it doesn’t worth more than that.

The hotel was excellent, however they have a rooftop bar that is open until 1.00am - avoid a room in the 9th floor as the noise carries form the roof top bar on the 10th floor

Nothing unique. A good hotel but not sure we would say 5 star. The staff were very friendly/helpful but our check-in was poor despite having checked-in online prior to arrival. Our room wasn't ready at 15.00 when we arrived. We had to go for a walk - about an hour - before we could check-in and then to an identical room but not the one booked online.

Excellent! This hotel was the first stop on our Spain vacation and it was lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped with nice amenities. I loved the little coffee and mini bar. The restaurant and breakfast were excellent. The rooftop bar has beautiful views and was so fun. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
