Loved this place. Really great walkable area with tapas bars aplenty nearby. Our room over looked a really nice street scene. While it is lively at night our room was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent as well.

Great Hotel in Madrid!

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Room Mate Alba. Our room was big and nice. The staff was very friendly. The location was excellent! It’s nestled in a quiet street in old town surrounded by lots of restaurants. It is a quick walk to the sites we wanted to see. The train station is a 5 min taxi ride away.

Wonderful city break

We stayed for four nights and had room only so can not review the breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and very clean. The hotel is very quiet even though it’s in a busy area which is one of the best things about it. Only need to walk few minutes and there is loads of great places to eat and drink. Would definitely recommend it.

Everything was top notch--the staff were always friendly and helpful, the decor stellar, location perfect. Would definitely stay again. Only complaints: I didn't LOVE the bar options. They were expensive for the quality. Also, no need to shake a vermouth for 30 seconds, just pour it from the bottle over ice, and please--not in a martini glass. A little noisy at 3am on a Saturday, but what can you do? I wouldn't stay elsewhere because of this. Just wear earplugs to sleep.

What a gem!

An amazing experience from start to finish! The location was perfect—close to all the main attractions yet nestled in a charming neighborhood vibe, surrounded by great restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops. The hotel itself is fairly new, beautifully designed, tidy, and impeccably clean. The service was outstanding, and I would definitely stay here again!
