The hotel is clean, has a decent breakfast ( coffee available from 5am) and a quick shuttle ride to the airport.

AC did not work - room was 28 degrees! The explanation I was given was that heating system still on. Heat turned off by front desk.Luckily windows could open ! The room was well appointed - nice linens / towels and robes - nice to have shampoo and soap containers labelled in easy to read size . The buffet breakfast was well done. We found a nice Italian pizza / pasta restaurant close to the hotel ! Staff friendly - good check in and out

Great place next to the airport

This was an unexpected stay in Madrid due to airline error. The Sercotel was close to the airport, offered a shuttle, had a bar, restaurant, AMAZING shower and 4 pillows on a queen sized bed which is almost unheard of in Europe. David, at the front desk was very helpful, ensuring I could check in early, offered suggestions for transportation and food. I would stay here again for sure!

It was a very clean hotel and the room was very comfortable. We used the bar in the evening and the service was very good. We also used room service and this was very good as well. My only little issue was with breakfast. The cooked breakfast was not very nice. Cold and looked like it had been there since started serving. The rest of it was pretty good. Would definitely stay here again

Showers Need to be Evaluated

Unfortunately, our experience at this property was not good. After a long day of traveling and flight delays, we arrived at the hotel late in the evening. The room was clean, but the shower would not drain at all and filled up the bottom of the shower pan within seconds. After packing up our things, we were moved to a different room. In this room, we were unable to control the temperature of our room. We were told it was not an independent system and was controlled by the hotel. This meant our room was extremely warm (since they had the heater on) which caused us not to sleep well. The shower in this room was not well designed either. The glass only covered part of the shower. The water would run down the side of the shower pan and the. all over the bathroom floor while you showered. Overall, we were really disappointed in this hotel.

great place to stay near Madrid airport

This hotel was a little hard to find but it was worth it because it is very close to the airport. We ended up here twice (flight cancelled), and both times were great. I'd recommend it. Very clean, comfortable bed, and great breakfast.
