This is a budget property. You get what you pay for. Every amenity you need is chargeable extra. Eg no luggage storage at lobby, have to pay for lockers. No coffee machine, water, etc in the room. No closet for storage. WiFi didn’t work. Bed is terrible. Rooms are not noise proofed so you can hear even the slightest movement from the other rooms clearly and prominently. Front desk staff was not friendly/informative. The exchange with them was very transactional. On the positive side, rooms are sizable/large and very new, modern, clean and comfy with good basics like heating. Overall, this is a utilitarian option if you just need to sleep a night and go to the airport next morning.

We stayed at tbis hotel in 3 different rooms over different nites. None of the in room televisions worked on cable tv, and the last nite we stayed we tried to use chromecast or other wifi viewing programs none worked. We asked the hotel desk to come and help. Adrian came to try to resolve, but he was unable to do anything.The TV softeare provider is in German language only, which was crustrating to all. Adrian was able to make a small asjusyment to our meal cost, but ultimately I was sisappointed in the situation. How does a hotel this size with alk the rv sets not have them functioning as they shoukd??

Zleep Hotel is my "go to" place to stay when I have a layover in Madrid. The staff are friendly, helpful, and proficient in English. There is a very reasonably priced and safe shuttle bus service between the Zleep Hotel and airport that you can reserve in advance. The premises are modern, clean, comfortable, and condusive to checking in with work or enjoying a coffee in a quiet nook. The area immediately around the hotel is sparse and there are very few dining or shopping options. However, there is a Cafeteria style restaurant on location at Zleep that offers breakfast and light fare dinners for the tired traveler. This is my home in Madrid!

Takes No-frills to the Next Level

Zleep is obviously meant to be a no-frills, budget friendly, airport accommodation. However, there is a difference between budget friendly and slightly dystopian, slightly uncomfortable, and questionably clean. I could have spent $20 more and stayed someplace really amazing. Zleep was not it. Would not recommend for solo female traveler.

Hotel is great, very modern, clean and well appointed. The room is good, very comfortable bed and well appointed. The only down side was in the morning of check out, I had an early flight and had booked the first airport shuttle at 06.15am. I went down early enough to somplete the check out, which was very quick and smooth and then wanted to take a coffee before starting my journey. reception informed me that the restaurant did not open until 06.30am and there was no coffee machine available. There were several other guests in the lobby waiting for their transfers to the airport and I am sure I was not the only one who would like a coffee before heading off to the airport, it is an airport hotel and I am sure that everyday it is the same with people checking out early. The reception and bar are both together, it is a very small space and on the bar there was a coffee machine, one of the simple types, put a disposable or china cup under the dispenser and press the button for your coffee selection, there were two receptionists on duty and it would not have been a problem for them to offer a service, frankly I was very surprised that a hotel in Spain, serving mainly people going to and from the airport was not able to offer coffee. Not enough space to complete my review but if you book the shuttle be aware it does not stop at the hotel, you have to go down to another hotel and nobody tells you this!! I almost missed the shuttle. Very badly communicated by the hotel.
