The lock on the door is broken and the door closer is broken. I had to push the screws in so that I can close the door. I didn't feel secure in the hotel; also, the elevator was not working as well. I had to go back to the car to leave the luggage and get a few things so I can get over for one night.

There did not clean the fridge. There was a left over cola. They did not refill the shampoo. There was a bottle bit it was empty. There was also no extra toilet paper. After we request them, they put it into the room. But nobody knows English, so communication was really bad.

Clean room and helpful staff

Our check-in was not smooth...we arrived at 1pm after a very long flight then a train from Zurich to Strasburg, so up almost 24 hours. We went to the front desk and was brusquely told by the woman we could not check-in until 3pm. We asked if there was perhaps just 1 room ready (we had 2 rooms reserved), again rudely told only at 3pm. Then we had to ask if we could at least store our luggage. Not once did she suggest anything...we roamed the hotel on our own & eventually had lunch at the restaurant (excellent food). We then patiently waited in the lobby until 3pm & was served by another lady who was sympathetic to our interaction with her colleague. All that aside, the rooms are generous in size, the balconies have a tanle & 2 chairs & a somewhat fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom again quite large. It is located somewhat outside of the city but we secured the same taxi each morning to bring us into town.

Kids loved their downstairs bedroom with 2 bunk beds. The hotel had great air conditioning and unlimited free water.

Hotel mit Potenzial. Das Personal ist insgesamt freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Das Zimmer, das ich hatte, war zwar renoviert und klimatisiert, aber es entspräche meiner Meinung nach insgesamt nicht mehr als einem Zwei-Sterne-Hotel. Die Sauberkeit ist teils verbesserungsbedürftig (Spinnenweben inkl. Spinne über dem Schrank und an der Decke, Boden staubig …). Der Parkplatz ist gut. Es gibt viele Geschäfte drumherum (Bäckerei, Supermärkte u. v. m.). Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel, wenn es nur um einen Halt geht, ohne dass es sich um einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt handelt.
