The staff was great. I enjoyed the large fitness room and the large variety of equipment. It is almost a full gymnasium. The room was large and comfortable. I do miss not having a mini fridge in the room.

nice place. no kettle and sadly no english TV but room clean and easy parking. Ate nearby at in house restarant with a nice balcony. its quite a way out of town but i was only staying for convenience. Breakfast was ok but not worth the price.

WIFI signal in lower floor was poor. When we tried the WIFI in the room it was not working, realize the room had a WIFI range extender, had to unplug the WIFI range extender (blackbox plug into an outlet in the hall) to be able to use the WIFI. Other than that the property, service, and parking was excellent.

Lots of space but far from town centre.
Our room was at the far end of the extension block and pretty remote from the reception desk and the hotel car park. A bit of a problem if you have a few suitcases tow along. Parking is free and undercover. The hotel is at the city periphery and you need to take a bus to go into town centre. Bus frequency is half-hourly. Because of the location of the room WiFi was out in the evening and at night when a lot of hotel guests were using WiFi at the same time. It worked alright in the morning. The room was more like an apartment with 2 double-bed rooms, a large bathroom, a pantry (no utensils though) and a small living room.

Sehr schöne, modern ausgestattete Hotel. Personal war net. Viele Sterne für die gratis Parking, sonst ist es unmöglich einen Parkplatz in Mainz zu finden. Italienische Restaurants in der Hotel, super gut ! Schöne Aussicht über Mainz. Lokalisation: etwas weit von alles. Frühstück fand ich zu teuer.

Good hotel not far from the centre of Mainz
This is a nice hotel up to Best Western standards. The room was very spacious. There isn’t much around where the hotel is but it’s a 10 minute walk to the train station and not far from the centre of town.

A great place to stay in the North of Mainz
I frequently use the Best Western for business travel. Hotel staff are very friendly and service is great. Breakfast is good and there are many options. There is no hotel bar and its a little isolated in that regard. The Italian adjoining the hotel serves great good though.

Wonderful customer service
This is our second booking at the Best Western Mainz, because it is 5 minutes walk from family. On this occassion, we booked so that we could attend a family funeral. We had to postpone our stay, because of changes to the date of the funeral. The staff at the hotel were fantastic in working with Hotels.com and us to make the change of dates possible. We look forward to actually staying again, because they have been so understanding.
