Disappointing

Great location, central Málaga with good access to city. You are sharing a building with other businesses, including big groups queueing at the door to get into the bars/restaurants, so you have to get through the crowd and a bouncer just to access your room. The lift/elevator is also constantly in use by other patrons. On our only full day there, we had a power cut at 8am - this also meant no water to the room. At 10am we went to ask if they knew when it would be back - they didn't know and had no offer of water in the meantime so had to go out feeling a bit grimy. The bathroom had an unbearable smell while the power was off, luckily we didn't need to use the facilities! We also found that the bar above our room was scraping chairs until 2/3 in the morning, making sleep difficult. Decor was good, however walls could do with a lick of paint with lots of wear and tear marks all over the white walls. Overall, very disappointed and couldn't justify the price in any way. I'll be writing separately to management.

This hotel is right in the middle of all the action. Tons of shops, restaurants, activities as soon as you walk out the door. The rooftop bar gives you beautiful views of the city and the historic Alcazaba; it gets crowded but it's got a fair amount of space and people seen to come and go regularly. It was a bit challenging to find, a small door squeezed in between 2 sidewalks restaurants, no real lobby, didn't feel like a hotel coming into it. The room was comfortable, good sized, airy and fun having the little terrace over the street. If you're looking for quiet relaxing, this is probably not the place. The nightlife is raucous and even with doors all closed noise still gets in. It's busy all day into the night and a pretty crowded area - if that's what your looking for, this is the place.

Great location walking distance to sights of interest. Clean room. Lovely roof top bar great views, drinks were expensive open to the general public so does get over crowded. We stayed 2 nights had a few housekeeping issues, no lifts working one night, so we had to walk up to the 3rd floor, no water at all for hours, luckily we could have a shower the next day and no power at all in our rooms only emergency lights, unable to charge phones etc, it was ok given that we had been out all day, to be honest i was starting to get nervous staying at this hotel with all the maintenance issues. On check in it would have been nice for the reception staff to be a little more welcoming and offer tips of the area etc..we still had a lovely time in the area as was a great location.

This place was great. We travelled as a family of four and felt very comfortable in our room. This hotel is right in the middle of things with a fantastic view of Alcazaba right from our room. Though the area is super lively, the room was quiet. Loved our stay here.

Great location

Great central location right in the heart of the Historic part of this beautiful city. Large airy room with a city view. Car park 100 yards away. Very safe.
