Outstanding property. Attached to the train station and a large mall. An easy walk to the beach. The room was very large and comfortable. The bed was great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I am comparing this hotel to the Hotel Barceló Carmen in Granada where we had an amazing stay. My main issue with this place was cleanliness and attention to detail. Dust all over the floor, glasses not cleaned, no hand soap, tea and coffee not replenished. Obviously a hotel for churning through business guests, not for leisure guests. That being said, the rooftop pool was really great and we had a lovely couple of days up there. Location very useful for the train station but not a pleasant area, 20 minute walk from the main town.

We had an amazing 5-nights stay at Barceló Malaga. The location is key, especially that it’s connected to a shopping centre and a major train station. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I loved the fact they had shower robes. The only drawback is their elevators, they are tiny compared to the size of the hotel and it can get very warm inside. Thank you very much Barceló Team, you made our stay in Malaga very enjoyable and comfortable.

Had a very enjoyable 7 day stay, room was clean and newly decorated. The roof top garden was pleasurable although the swimming pool limited if you wish to swim but ideal just to be able to cool down. My only comment was the size of the plates for breakfast which restricted the amount of food one could put on from the buffet.The best benefit of this hotel is it is adjacent to the railway station and even has a side entrance leading from the station . Regular train service to the airport which takes 20 minutes and cheap.Fun slide that kids & adults will enjoy to reception.

The hotel could do with some maintenance around some areas and the bathroom Around the pool there are limited seat and some were broken the pool is very small Good location easy to get around the mall at the side of the hotel was great for food

Lovely stay
We love this hotel and have stayed here previously. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely, very clean and comfortable, the beds and pillows are to die for! Air conditioning ensures a comfortable room and the shower is lovely too. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the area. We would definitely stay here again.
