Definitely not a 4 Star hotel. Very outdated! Air conditioning poor, bathtub slippery and difficult to get into, pillows horrible,non secure elevator, few amenities. Too expensive for this stay!

Great few days stay

We have been to Malaga nearly 30 times visiting family and this was our 1st stay at this hotel.... and we will definitely be back. The room was a great size with all we needed, very quiet considering we was opposite the floor lifts. Super clean and the bed was comfortable. Reception was very helpful the few times we needed them too. I do not have anything negative to say...Thank you guys 😎

The hotel was not too far from the bus station and the city centre and right next to the train station. Clean rooms, great breakfast and very helpful staff. Special thanks to Lorenzo for helping us with our queries and tour bookings.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable but noisy. I was not the only guest who asked to change rooms while I was there. The road noise in room 301 made it very difficult to sleep. I was moved to a much quieter room on the fifth floor which did not overlook the road but the air-conditioner in that room was so loud I had to use earplugs to sleep. The hotel is very close to the direct train to the airport which was great and a nice flat walk to the marina and city centre. The breakfast was okay but room temperature yoghurt and overly sweet fruit drink instead of real fruit juice were disappointing.

The property is well maintained and the staff were very helpful in guiding us throughout our stay. The hotel is a short walking distance to the major centre of Malaga. Also, there were a few restaurants and shops right by the hotel. We had a wonderful stay and hope to go back again.

Hotel Guadalmedina was a great base for our brief 2 day stop in Málaga — the location couldn’t have been much better, just a short stroll from both the beautiful old town and the marina. The room and bathroom were very spacious and the bed was very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. While the hotel itself feels a bit dated in style, it was spotlessly clean, and the comfort level / location made up for the aesthetics. The atmosphere was pleasantly quiet, and the staff were friendly and most helpful, especially in booking a taxi for us to the airport on departure (thank you). All in all, a good stay and in a prime location.
