First of all, a rare spacious parking lot. Friendly helpful check-in staff. This used to be a very nice hotel at some time, however the rooms are now very dated. The worst was it was very hot during our stay and the AC really didn't do much to cool the room.

horrible air conditioning- i have seen better coolers. saw a long bug on my bed the night i checked in. breakfast was great but service was slow.

Property is a very authentic Venice hotel. The a/c in the room did not work well and shuts off when no one is in the room. Front desk was very accommodating to leave a key in the room control while we were gone to keep the temperature down and got us a fan to help.

Difficult to write this review. We chose a room in an annexed building, but didn’t know it would be an apartment building several minutes walk from the hotel. Therefore we had no real use of amenities offered such as breakfast, etc. Our room was up several flights of stairs in a very old building. Initially we didn’t feel very safe; just very isolated. The first room was terrible, the next day we were switched to a bigger/better room in the same annex. Rooms are tired, need painting, bed was small, pillows uncomfortable too. Shower was dismal. To be fair to the manager, he did switch our room after one night. He also sent Prosecco to us, but we don’t drink it. Upon leaving he gave us a bottle of local olive oil. So in honor of him, he tried. But, he was unable to make any changes as the property was completely full. He was aware we were very displeased. We would suggest another property for your stay.
