The pool was immaculate and situated perfectly . The hotel was right on the beach which was clean and dandy and the sea was beautiful The hotelierspoke very good English and was extremely helpful . This hotel is peaceful , a short taxi ride to Heraklion and a supermarket on hand .we very much enjoyed our holiday here and would like to extend our thanks to our host .

The property is right on the beach. You will have to take the beach chair provided by the owner back and forth to it. The beach is swimable and the sand is great. There is a market 5 minutes away ( walk) to shop your essentials and there is a fridge in your room. The rooms are cleaned daily and the sheets and towels changed daily. Rooms are imaculate and Miranda cleans them very well. Ianis, the owner is very helpful and answers any questions you might have. There is no tv in the room but there is Ac and safe. Very friendly staff, and great relaxing rusting stay!You can also take the bus for 20 euros for 2 days and see Heraklion. One of the things that is a must se is the Venetian legion/ castle. The whole island is full of beautiful beaches so if you rent a car adventure yourself and go se it!

The property is just in front of the sea which is very nice. The host is super friendly and tries to help in anything you might ask. The hotel is quite old so some renovation would be nice but overall I had a good stay.

The one week spent at this hotel was relaxing, fun and exciting. Mr. Tsagarakis was warmly welcoming the very beginning. He gave all the info during the check in which made things easier. The hotel is a tradition rich family business and the Mr.Tsagarakis and his mothe made us feel like home at the hotel. The amazing pool, garden, sea view, the antique rich interiors with couches and the dining area is really peaceful and creative to relax. Free WiFi, AC, pool use, free sun beds and as a complementary we were also given diving masks. The sea view room was so great with sea and mountain views. Rooms where cleaned everyday, breakfast was fresh and delicious. We had a smooth check-in and check out. Somethings to improve would be: The room was not sound proof, so if the roads are too busy, you would hear it(our room was on road side). The breakfast was same all days, maybe a bit of change would be nice.

Great value for the money provided you enjoy a quiet beach and don’t mind driving 10 minutes to town centre. Good restaurants and a supermarket are about 5 minutes walking distance. Right on a beautiful sandy beach. Great for sunbathing, and swimming. Friendly and welcoming staff.

It is a very unique property decorated with museum pieces handmade in Crete. Inside and outside. Very special addition is a sand beach we enjoyed so much. What a wonderful hotel this is! We extended our stay as we were so relaxed and comfortable. The owner is very kind and wants people to be happy. The location is excellent - a short stroll to a wonderful beach for a quick swim before breakfast, and convenient to walk to a range of excellent restaurants. Tremendous views from simple 3* rooms, and a gorgeous terrace and swimming pool. Thank you Ioannis and team for a wonderful vacation. We will definitely be returning :)

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. From the very first day ,the reception by Iranius was exceptional, warm ,friendly and honest. Through our stay he and all the staff were very kind . If we had the luck to come back to Heraklion we definitely would stay at this enchanting place . No luxurious but everything worked just fine.

Brilliant place, beach front , very attentive people, friendly and welcoming. Big , well stocked supermarket in walking distance. Easy transport by bus ( nr 1 and 2 to the town centre and airport , and nr 6 to Amoudara beach on a way back to the hotel, or from airport) . Absolute gem.

This hotel is a hidden gem! It is family owned and operated since 1984 and they make sure that you enjoy your stay. The hotel is very clean and super adorable! The breakfast is fresh and plentiful. The views are amazing, we especially loved watching the sunset every night. It’s right on a sandy beach with a number of restaurants and lounge chairs available, or the pool on the property is also wonderful, if you prefer that. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood (easily walkable) and found a number of good restaurants and cafes along the way. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Crete!

A perfect stay on Crete

My son and daughter and I had an amazing stay here. The hotel might be old but it is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were looked after brilliantly and treated like family rather than guests. We could easily walk to a range of really good bars and restaurants and there is a massive supermarket five minutes walk away. Loved it.

Diamond in the Rough

This hotel is an excellent value. It's older, and has been operated by the same family for a long time. The owner goes out of his way to make sure that you are welcomed. The property has traditional Greek handicrafts displayed throughout, and has a lovely pool. It is on the less inhabited end of a beautiful, popular beach. Chairs are provided. The rooms themselves are more what you would expect from a budget hotel, with older shower fixtures, and less comfy beds. There is a balcony and all the rooms have sea views. You pay extra for AC and the safe. Fans or ceiling fans would be a great addition. But basically, you'd be hard pressed to find another low-cost hotel with this kind of direct beach access and charm!

As a Flight Attendant I saw a lot of hotels around the world, but no owner was as sympathisch, caring and friendly as Mr. Tsagarakis! He gave us such a welcoming and cozy feeling during our stay in his hotel. His mother and the whole staff were very friendly as well! The hotel is very idyllic and relaxing especially the view during breakfast. The room was very clean and cozy with an air conditioner, a fridge, balcony and a lot of space to stow the clothes etc.! I liked the quality of the breakfast as well with traditional Greek delicious olives and yoghurt, honey etc.! The sea is very close to the hotel, so you can decide where you want to swim: in the refreshing hotel pool or the beautiful sea. Around the hotel, there are many nice restaurants, Cafés and shopping opportunities. We will come again for sure and thank you by heart for everything! May God always protect your lovely souls!
